Back to the usual level of rowdy debauchery at OB's!
Despite everyone adoring Elizabeth Banks, it took a really long time for teams to figure out she was the Guess Who answer. We also learned that the crowd at OB's isn't too big on current country music. Only one team, Turd Ferguson (who happened to be a team of ONE), knew Dolly Parton was the lone female answer in the final round.
For the chili cheese glory, teams tried to name state capitals with more than one word. Turns out Kansas City is NOT the capital of anything! That made the challenge a lot harder, but eventually we got there.
At the end of the night, 17th Street Gang, fueled by knowledge of High School Musical, took home the gold. Look how cute they are!

It was a quieter-than-usual night of trivia at OB's but we still had a battle for the glory (and the chili cheese fries).
Only two teams figured out the mystery guest in the Guess Who round, and plenty of double downs were blown. Insert Shitty Team Name Here had a great night, not only winning the game (and $40 to spend next time!) but also winning the chili cheese round by knowing enough Coachella bands!
Congrats also to the Wallets of El Segundo (2nd) and Architects of Destruction (who apparently never watched Entourage nor Sex and the City but still managed to place 3rd!). Can't wait for next week!

This is the kind of game I like -- where you never know who is going to win because the scores keep bouncing around like so much rubber balls. We had plenty of failed double downs, but teams persisted.
Just about everyone identified John Goodman in the Guess Who round, and for the chili cheese round we added up the number of states/provinces in Mexico, Canada and Australia.
In the end, We Got Bryce Harper chalked up a commanding victory and posed happily with their $40 voucher to use next time at OB's. See ya next week!
