In round 2, four teams doubled down, and four teams were successful. In round 5, four teams doubled down but only ONE was successful! It was this kind of craziness that made last night at OB's a really fun game.
Your Quizmaster was pretty impressed at how well teams did in the "name the Spice Girls" round. One team guessed me as one of the original members, but I was only in a tribute act. Har har.

It was so chaotic at OB's last night I forgot to take photos. The bar was jammed, probably due to it being July 4 Eve. And early into the game, we heard a big crash - a car wreck right outside our window. It was kind of a mess, but we powered on through the game, with Do It For The Sam and their perfect penmanship winning it all.

There were only a few doubles the whole evening, which was a testament to the difficulty of the questions. The Sushi and "Guess Where" rounds were especially tough.
Throughout the game, So Damn Bourgeois, One of us Lives in a Van, Pussy over Pancakes and Wet Willies were neck and neck. One of us Lives in a Van was the only team to correctly guess the "Guess Where" for 10 points, but slow and steady won the race last night because So Damn Bourgeois consistently averaged high points each round and walked away with the first place prize. One of us Lives in a Van snagged second, and in third place, Wet Willies edged out Pussy over Pancakes by one single point.
