About Paragon

Allen Adams was born and raised in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley and has over twenty years of experience in the restaurant, nightclub and bar business. Allen cut his teeth managing the The Shark Club in downtown LA. While working at the Shark Club, Allen learned the importance of treating customers in such a way that garnered incredible loyalty and a multitude of return clientele. Allen moved on to be the bar manager of the Seafood Broiler and Milano’s Italian kitchen. Allen always strived to create a personable environment where the customer would feel comfortable and want to be a part of. He always puts the customer’s needs first and foremost. Allen decided after years of being in the business to venture out and open the Paragon Bar and Grill. Along with partner “CJ” Willis, their goal was to create a place in Northridge that would give the feel of going to Hollywood or Downtown, without the long drive or potential pretentiousness.

Everything we do here at Paragon Bar and Grill is prepared fresh, from our handmade cocktails, to our snacks and all of our food. Our menu was created by executive chef Greg Schroeppel. Greg has worked with Wolfgang Puck and has done a great job putting a menu together for you. Our goal is to provide the best service, drink and food in the Valley.

Tonight's quiz was a tough one for our players. Book and Deviants started out strong with the Mullets just behind.

Deviants took a strong break from the pack with an 8-point Guess Who, 9/10 in round 5 and a perfect score (although no double) in the final round.

Mullets gained ground with a perfect score (although no double) in round 5 and 9/10 in round 6. They were unable to catch the leader, though, settling into second place.

Book slipped in round 5 and were unable to regain the lost ground. They still managed to retain third place, though, and went home with a prize.

Thanks again, everyone who managed to make it out tonight in spite of the rain and... well... other things. I hope to see you all again next week!

Indie, Manning, and Never kicked things off the right way with successful doubles in the first round. Rounds 2-4 were tough on most the teams, an 8-point Guess Who letting the MILFS catch up

It was Never's successful double in round 5 followed by a perfect score ('though no double) in round 6 and 9/10 in the final round that really locked away the top spot.

Pep also managed a successful double in the Connection round, a slight edge over the other teams in the final two rounds getting them their 2nd-place win.

MILFS took the 3rd spot away from Manning by 2 points, their overall decent scores barely making up for Manning's first-round double.

Tonight's quiz was a tough one for our teams, but they powered through it.

Jen started off with a perfect score in round 1 (although they failed to double), and Deviants and Knuckles were right behind them. The top 3 were already making themselves known!

Round 3 was all over the place, from a failed double by Park to a successful double by Autumn. The 5150's, Deviants, and Jen all scored 8 in the Guess Who, but six of our teams had incorrect guesses. Round 6 was a rough one practically across the board with Jen once again topping the crowd with 6/10.

So, Jen was able to take home their first win, riding generally high scores all the way through. The Deviants were just behind them the whole way, and Knuckles just behind that.

Mifflin was kept out of the top 3 by an incorrect Guess Who, and Autumn might have been there, too, if not for a failed double in round 6.

See you all next week!
