About Paragon

Allen Adams was born and raised in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley and has over twenty years of experience in the restaurant, nightclub and bar business. Allen cut his teeth managing the The Shark Club in downtown LA. While working at the Shark Club, Allen learned the importance of treating customers in such a way that garnered incredible loyalty and a multitude of return clientele. Allen moved on to be the bar manager of the Seafood Broiler and Milano’s Italian kitchen. Allen always strived to create a personable environment where the customer would feel comfortable and want to be a part of. He always puts the customer’s needs first and foremost. Allen decided after years of being in the business to venture out and open the Paragon Bar and Grill. Along with partner “CJ” Willis, their goal was to create a place in Northridge that would give the feel of going to Hollywood or Downtown, without the long drive or potential pretentiousness.

Everything we do here at Paragon Bar and Grill is prepared fresh, from our handmade cocktails, to our snacks and all of our food. Our menu was created by executive chef Greg Schroeppel. Greg has worked with Wolfgang Puck and has done a great job putting a menu together for you. Our goal is to provide the best service, drink and food in the Valley.

In round 1, only Top Shelf didn't score 6 or 7. Round 2 saw four teams successfully double. Rounds 3 and 4 had them all scratching their heads. With two failed doubles and three 9/10 scores, round 5 had everyone in a dead heat.

A successful double in round 6 and 9/10 in the final round took VDay to the top. Top Shelf failed to double on a perfect score in round 6, but 8/10 in the final round put him firmly in second. Irregardless squeaked past the rest of the pack to take third.

Tonight's match was a wild one. While iCarly took the lead with a double in round 2 and managed to stay on top, several other teams threatened to overtake them. Thomas Sisters closed the gap with a double in round 5. Shrek pushed in close with a double in round 6.

The wildest of the night, though, were the All-Stars, starting out in last place, failing a double in round 3 and guessing incorrectly at Guess Who, they successfully doubled in the last 3 rounds, pushing into 2nd ahead of Shrek and coming just 2 points shy of 1st place!

On to the Tournament of Champions!

Game Rank Team # Team Name Score Teams Beaten Team Beat Average

This quiz seemed to stump our players for the most part. Scores stayed relatively even until the Guess Who? round. Those that went on to place waited for the 6-point clue and got the right answer. The rest... well, they were kicking themselves for not waiting. A failed double buried Oscar at the bottom of the pile while Shrek took high scores in the final 3 rounds to the win!

Game Rank Team # Team Name Score Teams Beaten Team Beat Average
1 17530 Shreknical Difficulties 46 4 1.000
2 12308 We've Got Nothing 40 3 0.750
3 Lizzy's Angels 38 2 0.500
4 Fuck Your Duck 34 1 0.250
5 14895 Oscar de la Bob 26 0 0.000
