About Paragon

Allen Adams was born and raised in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley and has over twenty years of experience in the restaurant, nightclub and bar business. Allen cut his teeth managing the The Shark Club in downtown LA. While working at the Shark Club, Allen learned the importance of treating customers in such a way that garnered incredible loyalty and a multitude of return clientele. Allen moved on to be the bar manager of the Seafood Broiler and Milano’s Italian kitchen. Allen always strived to create a personable environment where the customer would feel comfortable and want to be a part of. He always puts the customer’s needs first and foremost. Allen decided after years of being in the business to venture out and open the Paragon Bar and Grill. Along with partner “CJ” Willis, their goal was to create a place in Northridge that would give the feel of going to Hollywood or Downtown, without the long drive or potential pretentiousness.

Everything we do here at Paragon Bar and Grill is prepared fresh, from our handmade cocktails, to our snacks and all of our food. Our menu was created by executive chef Greg Schroeppel. Greg has worked with Wolfgang Puck and has done a great job putting a menu together for you. Our goal is to provide the best service, drink and food in the Valley.

All Stars and Abu Dhabi jumped out to an early lead with successful doubles in round 2. Unfortunately, only Abu Dhabi stayed there. A wrong answer in Guess Who and a failed double in round 5 knocked the All Stars out of the top 3.

Most of the teams were right on top of each other after round 6, so high scores in the final round from Shrek and Irregardless clinched the top spots for them. Oscar and Purple Rain unwisely doubled in the final round, costing them contention for the #2 and #3 spots.

Five teams successfully doubled in round 1, demonstrating right out of the gate what kind of a game this was going to be.

Tori had successful doubles in round 1, 3, 6, and 7, putting them squarely on top. Cody had successful doubles in rounds 1 and 7, consistently high scores keeping them in the top 3 and taking 2nd place by a single point.

The Irregardless doubled in rounds 3 and 6 while Oscar took rounds 1 and 2. High scores throughout had the two tied at the end.

While the Kingpins and Shrek had excellent scores, they were just unable to keep up with the top 3 tonight.

In round 1, only Top Shelf didn't score 6 or 7. Round 2 saw four teams successfully double. Rounds 3 and 4 had them all scratching their heads. With two failed doubles and three 9/10 scores, round 5 had everyone in a dead heat.

A successful double in round 6 and 9/10 in the final round took VDay to the top. Top Shelf failed to double on a perfect score in round 6, but 8/10 in the final round put him firmly in second. Irregardless squeaked past the rest of the pack to take third.
