Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. It was no surprise, but every team was a happy couple except for the aptly-named team of four, S.A.D. (Singles Awareness Day) and Juju Bees (who happened to be the waitress).
The first half of the game was played to the soothing tunes of love songs, but halfway through I got bored with that and switched to anti-Valentine songs.
We Were on a Break! Started off strong with a double, and kept that lead throughout the entire game.
In the second round, Jews All Mighty should've doubled and would've tied We Were on a Break!, but alas they didn't and stayed tied for second place.
Everyone got the "Who Am I?" on the 8 point clue.
I learned a lot about people's worst dating experiences for the drinking round. We Were on a Break! won that round.
Going into the final round it was a 3-way tie for 2nd place between S.A.D., Scooby Brew, and Jews All Mighty.
In the end, with those three teams ending just one point away from each other, S.A.D. took 3rd, Scooby Brew took 2nd, and We Were on a Break! was well ahead in 1st place.

It was a PACKED house Wednesday at Pineapple Hill.
There were no doubles the first round, so it was a close game with everyone scoring between 0-6.
Then Gazpacho shook things up in round 2 with a double, catapulting them into the lead by 9 points.
Participation Trophy Wives (one of my favorite names of the night) doubled in the second round, bringing them closer to reigning team Gazpacho.
John Clarks Arm made a successful double in round 5, putting them ahead of Participation Trophy Wives.
In keeping with the connection from the Find the Connection round, which was College Bowl game names, for the drinking round we played a game of "Real or Fake Bowl Games". Some of the ridiculous sounding real bowl names include the "Bad Boy Mowers Gasparillo Bowl" and the "Salad Bowl". John Clark's Arm won the drinking round by guessing 8 correctly.
In Round 6, there were no doubles but most teams did well.
It was a close game towards the end. In the final round, John Clarks Arm barely beat Participation Trophy Wives to nab 2nd place. Gazpacho reigned supreme but by only 3 points.

Gazpacho started off the night strong with a double.
They were ahead until the third round, where they doubled unsuccessfully. That put Wise Guys and Shake and Bake tied for first place.
Shake and Bake got the "Who Am I" on the 10 point clue.
The 5th round was about "stones" so, in keeping with that, for the drinking round teams had to name the carats in the largest diamond ever found. GTL won the drinking round by guessing 525 carats - still a far cry from the 3,000+ answer, but close enough to win them drinks!
In Round 6, Shake and Bake secured their first place spot with a successful double.
It was a tight race for 2nd place between Wise Guys and Gazpacho going into the final round. Gazpacho was able to gain some ground and obtain more right answers, but ultimately they couldn't close the gap and Wise Guys took the prize for 2nd place.
