Wednesday evening June 12th at College Bar & Grill 3 teams tested their skills at trivia. Our teams for the evening were The 2007 Britney's, TaeJoe, and Team Guys.
Round 1 was bittersweet for these teams as most of them only earned 2 or 3 points. After including bonus points for team numbers The 2007 Britney's were in first place with 4 points, in second was Team Guys with 3 points, and in third with 2 points was TaeJoe.
Our teams seemed to be fairly well rounded in their musician color pallets. The most commonly missed images were of Deep Purple and Indigo Girls.
In Round 3 each of our teams were able to identify a majority of the references to famous failures. By the end of this round The 2007 Britney's remained in first place now with 15 points. In second with 13 was Team Guys and in third was TaeJoe with 11 points.
TaeJoe redeemed themselves in Round 4 when they were able to correctly guess our mystery location of Graceland after just the second clue, earning 8 additional points for their team! The 2007 Britney's were able to get it after the third clue, earning 6 extra points. Unfortunately for Team Guys they were unable to bring an answer up resulting in no points given or taken.
2 teams chose to play their Double or Nothing moves in Round 5. Luckily this worked out for both The 2007 Brinteys and TaeJoe who were able to win 20 extra points for both of their teams! Team Guys also did well this round and had only missed 2 of the answers. By the end of Round 5 The 2007 Brinteys continued their hold of first place, now with 41 points. Behind them in second was TaeJoe with 39 points. In third was Team Guys with 21 points.
Round 6 worked well for those who are familiar with the work of Shakespeare. It seemed TaeJoe was not all too well versed earning just 2 points in this round. Team Guys did a bit better and only missed half of the questions. The 2007 Britneys seemed to be a group of thespians as they were able to get all 10 of the questions correct!
Finally with Round 7 our teams tested their wits of cars as they named best-selling automobile brands in the U.S. that were not American or Japanese. TaeJoe and Team Guys were able to correctly guess 7 of the 10 answers while The 2007 Britneys earned just 5 points for this round.
After adding the additional 2 points for the return of pens our final scores were as follows: in third place with 35 points was Team Guys, in second was TaeJoe with 50 points, and in first place was The 2007 Britneys with 58 points total. Check in next week to see how our teams do!

Wednesday evening June 5th 3 teams came to College Bar & Grill to play trivia. Our teams were Pitchers>Buckets, Collegiate United National Team, and Team Bippus.
In Round 1 a majority of the teams only missed 1 point! The most commonly missed question was our Question of The Day. By the end of this first round our 3 teams were all in a tie with 5 points each!
Round 2 went fairly well for these teams, they seemed to be well versed with famous speeches. However our most commonly missed question was the first image which depicted Richard Nixon giving a speech in 1952. Our teams assumed it was either in the 70's or 60's. By the end of this round Collegiate United National Team was in first with 13 points, in second with 11 points was Pitchers>Buckets, and in third was Team Bippus with 10 points.
Each of the teams did a great job in Round 3! One team chose to play their Double or Nothing in this round, this team was Pitchers>Buckets. They got all of their answers correct except for just one! Which unfortunately meant they did not receive any points for the round.
Pitchers>Buckets made a come back in our Guess Who round when they correctly guessed our mystery person after just the first clue! These Courtney Cox fans gained an additional 10 points for their team bringing their total score up to 21 points. Team Bippus and Collegiate United National Team both guessed incorrectly meaning they each lost a point for their teams. By the end of the round Team Bippus had 14 points and Collegiate United National Team had 16.
In Round 5 only 1 team was able to correctly guess the common theme of the first 9 answers. This team was Collegiate United National Team, who only missed 1 question in this round.
The most amount of points lost in Round 6 were 2 points to Team Bippus. Teams Pitchers>Buckets and Collegiate United National Team each got all of the answers correct. However, Collegiate United National Team applied their Double or Nothing in this round, meaning they won an additional 20 points for their team!
Round 7 was nothing but smooth sailing for all of our teams who all got every question right! Team Bippus even played their Double or Nothing this round and won 20 extra points (after including the 2 extra points for bringing back my pen.
By the end of the game Team Bippus finished in third place with 45 points total. In second came Pitchers>Buckets with 49 points. Finally, in first place with 56 points was Collegiate United National Team. Thank you to all our players, join us again next week!

Last night, Wednesday May 29th, at College Bar and Grill 4 teams competed in our King Trivia night! Our teams were Throatwobblers, #CBOD, Team Bippus, and Steve+Allen+Nick.
Our general knowledge round seemed to be a breeze for most teams. So much so that #CBOD decided to play their Double or Nothing! Unfortunately though they missed just a single question and finished our first round with 0 points.
Round 2 was a breeze for these teams! Almost all of them got every single answer correct! Two teams, Team Bippus and Throatwobblers, chose to play their Double or Nothings in this round. While that benefited Team Bippus, the Throatwobblers unfortunately missed just one of the answers, assuming that Po was Tinkie Winkie, and did not get any points for round 2. By the end of this round Team Bippus was in first place with 21 points, in second was Steve+Allen+Nick with 11 points, in third with 8 points was #CBOD, and in fourth with 7 points was the Throatwobblers.
Round 3 was another easy one for these players! All but one team got every single answer correct. The only team to have missed a point was Team Bippus, who thought the pussycat bow was worn around the waist instead of the neck.
In Round 4 the teams were attempting to guess our mystery location. #CBOD guessed the location on the very first clue, giving their team an additional 10 points. Teams Steve+Allen+Nick and the Throatwobblers both guessed correctly on our third clue giving their teams each 6 points. Team Bippus guessed our mystery location incorrectly and lost their team 1 point. By the end of this round Team Bippus was in first place with 25 points. In second was #CBOD with 24 points. Steve+Allen+Nick were in third with 23 points and finally in fourth with 19 points were the Throatwobblers.
Round 5 proved to be a bit trickier for our players but Steve+Allen+Nick guessed each correctly, including the connection between all of the answers!
Round 6 was however the opposite! 3 of the 4 teams got all of their answers correct, team Throatwobblers only missed 3 of the 10 answers.
The game also ended fairly easily for these teams as they guessed 10 of the 15 movies that each won an Oscar this year. Steve+Allen+Nick chose to play their Double or Nothing in this round earning an additional 20 points for their team! The Throatwobblers and #CBOD got all of their answers correct and Team Bippus only missed 2.
The game finished with Throatwobblers in fourth with 46 points. Team Bippus was in third with 48 points. In second with 53 points was #CBOD and our first place winner was Steve+Allen+Nick with 65 points total!
