Here I come to save the day! With our fearless host Dan out of commission, I swooped in to host a night of trivia with wonderful people, and everyone had a good time. Never let it be said that the show must not go on. Well, I guess there are some exceptions, but not tonight! Friendly faces were all about, and I enjoyed them all.
There were lead changes, Dodgers scoring, fencing, hot dog eating on TV, and even the occasional ribald answer that had to be emphasized, but, hey, we're all adults here, right? When the hammer fell, three teams walked away with prizes. Zombie Tsunami landed in third with 40 points to earn a $10 gift card. One point ahead, Tristan's Here (normally Amber Sampler) stole second place with 41 and snatched a $15 gift card. Never being out of the top slot, Fútbol Is Life scored a goal with 59 points and a couple good doubles to take home the #1 prize, bragging rights and a $25 gift card that offsets their beer tab! Honestly, who doesn't want free beer?

A great group at Great Change Brewing this week, they were here early and ready for action. Quite a few of the regulars and a few new teams this week. We always enjoy having new players so come on out and join us next Thursday.
Tonight's game was quite competitive with the lead bouncing around in the last few rounds. When the dust finally settled, Amber Sampler placed a strong 3rd place, winning a $10 gift card with 54 points. Futbol is Life collected 58 points for 2nd place and a $15 gift card. Rising to the occasion was The Dudes at a Table garnering 63 points for 1st place and a $25 gift card.
