New teams keep getting sucked in to our fun, and that's a good thing! I was pleased to see so many new faces tonight, and we even got a team to jump in at round 2.

As always, competition at the top saw lead changes and jumps. SHIT got edged out the last round to drop to fourth as newcomers Get In The Zone... THOTto Zone took third place and a $10 gift card with 40 points. Barrel Aged was sitting atop The heap with 41 until their sister team Cream Of The Crop made a well-timed double in round 6 to fly near the top and tie the game at the end. The tiebreaker asked in which issue number of Batman (specifically Batman, not Detective Comics) Killer Croc made his first appearance; The Barrels answered 23, while the Creamers put down 31. The correct answer was 357.

Come it next week as we uncover the mysteries held by Area 51.

With 8 teams, we started into the night, trodding through the wilderness that is trivia. New faces keep showing up, and they're bringing friends next time.

 

At the end of the night, newcomers JJNKDS popped to the top of the heap with 34 and a $25 gift card for their knowledge. Tequila Mockingbird took second and a $15 gift card after winning the tiebreaker to end their night at 33. The Wogs got third place, also with 33, and earned a $10 gift card, but gifted that to False Claymes who was in 4th because The Wogs are led by an employee with a kind heart.

Come out next week as we finally solve the mystery of how many licks it actually takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.

Another great turnout before we take a week off for the Fourth of July! The battle was constant with teams changing leads often, but False Claymes came through again with another successful double in round 6 to blast there way to the top and end up with 43 to earn that $25 gift card. A 3-way tie at 36 was decided by the tiebreaker question: How many calories are in a Garlic Dipping Cup from Dominoes? The correct answer was 250. So Happy It's Thursday (SHIT) was only 3 off at 253 to take second and a $15 gift card. Periodic Table Dancers took third and a $10 gift card with their answer of 300. The Upside Down guessed 345 and walked away with their heads held high.

De La Cruz'n was a late entry in round 2 and managed to catch up and avoid last place.
