Welcome back, friends! We started off great and ended with a bang that shook the game up, displacing the top team at the last minute. The Usual Suspects made their second appearance this week, though with fewer teammates tonight. Successful and failed doubles made and broke teams during the game.
When it all came tumbling down, SHIT and Tequila Mockingbird ended up in a tie for third place at 31, with TM taking the tiebreaker and a $10 gift card. Hoppy Homies got bumped from the top in round 7 to land in second with 56. At the last minute, Lightning Dogs came through with a perfect round 7, doubling down to jump 20 points into first place with 61 points.

Ooh! What a lovely tea party! All the regular crazies came out tonight, and we lost ourselves to fun, beer, and saying mean things to the quizmaster. No one cares, though. That dude's an A-hole. After round 2's terrible acceptance, we got to hear some of the insults that would have otherwise stayed private. Zombie Tsunami was so sad for me that they left in tears after round 5. They may have also sent me one of those love letters. Also, my brain went stupid, and I kept making simple math errors.
When we wrapped it up, The Transplants leaped out from the middle of the pack to jump into first with a well-timed double to earn 20 points and they hung onto the lead by 2 points with 60. Threat Level Midnight led all night until round 6 and missed an opportunity to keep their lead by failing to double on a ten-point round 6, causing them to come in second by 2 points at 58. 1 Little D and 2 BBC's doubled in round 6, swinging them up 20 points to end up with 50. 25, 15, and 10 dollar gift cards were handed out accordingly.

It's another great night, and I love seeing so many smiling faces coming in for a bit of fun.We had new teams and old friends all coming together to answer questions in hope of winning beer money. With 8 teams, we set off in search of beer and knowledge. Oh Boy Po' Boys decided to grace me with some of that delicious goodness in the form of a half hot link/half shrimp sandwich, and I can tell you that you need this in your life! In your mouth, too.
At the end of the night, Team Stark once again showed that the house always wins, edging their way into first place by a single point in the final round with 44. Of course, they pushed their prize money down, so second through fourth place got gift cards. Zombie Tsunami held the lead all the way through the game, until that last round, taking second place and a $25 gift card with 43. Lightning Dogs grabbed third with 42 and a $15 gift card. SHIT landed in fourth with 39 and managed to get prize money in the form of a $10 gift card.
