Another night in the books where new people get ripped into some fun and take home some prize money. We always appreciate people who decide to have some fun and jump into the game, and we had a team that joined in round 5; Thanks, Tapias!
At the end, Team Stark ran away with the victory at 50 points, but graciously pushed their prize money down below. Get your mind out of the gutter! I meant to the next spot. Newcomers Just OK got fourth place with 24 and a $10 gift card. Brooding Hipthrust missed a double, but took third and a $15 gift card with 32. Threat Level Midnight again takes one of the top spots at second with 41 points, winning a $25 gift card.
Remember that Tuesday is Christmas Eve, so there will be no Survey Slam that night, but Trivia Thursday will happen next week. Come on out with all your friends, family, and coworkers and play our games!

In a packed house, tables filled up quickly as we set off to play our little game. A big holiday party turned into a trivia team, and beer poured all night long. If we keep adding more people, we're going to have to start seating people on the ceiling. But, don't let that stop you from bringing in new players.
In one of the most fun parts of the night, a team who shall remain anonymous was caught looking up answers on their phone. Almost immediately after, the entire place was chanting "SHAME" as if Cersei Lannister were being marched through the streets. Even that team had a laugh, though. In brightest day, in blackest night, no cheaters shall escape my sight.
At the end of the night, Lightning Dogs once again took home the top prize with 46 points to secure first place and a $25 gift card. In second, rivals and former teammates Threat Level Midnight got 41 points and a $15 gift card. Right on their heels, Tequila Mockingbird turned in 40 points for third place and a $10 gift card.

Another great night with great people in the history books. New teams showed up, and one of them damn near Tom the night by storm. The first round saw 5 successful doubles, with two teams going 3 in a row, and 16 all night! "Huck it. Chuck it. Football! ALL NIGHT!"
At the end of the night, new team Murphy's Law (AKA: Finagle's Law; look it up) brought home first place with a commanding 75 points. In second place, newcomers A Dull Pencil took second with 67. Dungeons and Flagons popped third with 59. Our condolences to Lightning Dogs (Woof! Woof!) who went down in a blaze of glory completing 1 successful double out of 4 for the night.
