QUIZ RECAP

Thank the Marco Polo for their air conditioning because Seattle was hot and the trivia teams were hotter. With Double or Nothing plays all around, the temperature just kept rising. The Mother of Biscuits was baking the competition, with the MissFits (finally reunited) in a close tie all game. Private Cousins and Just Bread were also neck in neck all night (there's an inbred joke somewhere in there).  But it was anyone's game as we went into the final round, and with some successful (and unsuccessful) double or nothing plays, Private Cousins narrowly swooped second place, behind MissFits. What a reunion, baby!

The teams entered the competition to the tune of RuPaul's Supermodel. Everyone looked fantastic, and on a Tuesday night? They really turned it out. The judges (me, myself, and I), were very impressed. And with the food - trust that the Marco Polo Bar and Grill's food (and pit crew) will steal your heart. The staff SERVES in all the ways and that broasted chicken was hot AF. 

But it's off to the race and to crown the #1 Queen (trivia team) of the night. Let the games begin! Category is: Trivia Extravaganza!!!!

The teams were slaying every round, reading each other, and hustling for the crown. They were werking b*tch! The Lone MissFit and Dumb & Dumber (& Dumbest, since they are a team of 3?) were tied for 3rd place going into the finale. We've recovered a non-human biologic was werking to dethrone Quiz in Your Pants. The food and drinks were flowing, and Mother continued to sing --

SILENCE! The results were in. The winner of King Trivia's race, and a $25 gift card sponsored by the Marco Polo is. . .  Quiz in Your Pants! They took home the crown, the money, and the dirty laundry!

Dear Diary,

Tonight, only one of my favorite MissFits could show for the games: John. For a while there, it was just me and him, the Lone Missfit. But that just meant we could play both trivia and pool! I'd read off a round and shoot the cue, he'd make his guesses for the round and then it'd be his turn in pool again. I'm not the pool shark I once was, so John was sitting pretty in first place for both games tonight. We both ended up scratching on the 8 ball though! Hey, a win is a win.

Speaking of, we had another team join half way through - the Mother of Biscuits. (Mmm, biscuits -- those would've gone great with my chili.) They won 2nd place with a score of -1! I've never seen anything like it. I was so amazed, I engraved it on their trophy. Hopefully I get to see them again.
