QUIZ RECAP

The games began with our regulars staring down their competition: the MissFits and Quiz in Your Pants. After weeks of close games, the tensions were building and the drinks were flowing. These two teams were joined by a newcomer, Regina George's Hair, who brought the heat and secrets. While the MissFits thought their biggest competition would be their OG rival, Regina George's Hair was neck-in-neck with them the whole game. And I thought her hair was shoulder length? While these two teams danced between second and third, Quiz in Your Pants finished first for the third week in a row at Marco Polo. Despite their growing rivalry, the teams shared a laugh in the end.

Double or Nothing was the play at Marco Polo this trivia game. It's the move that helped Megan Zhou stay in first all game, the Hanson Bros break into the top 3 by endgame, and Quiz in Your Pants finish first in a final round sneak attack. This Quizmaster has never seen so many Double or Nothing plays. Just goes to show that a well-placed bet can be a winning strategy! Our winners were so excited to get their handmade trophy cards, made by yours-truly-Quizmaster. They weren't too upset about the gift cards either.

When you come for the baseball but stay for the trivia!

Marco Polo was the place to be for games on a Tuesday evening in Seattle. With the MLB All Stars game on, some of our local King Trivia all stars were gearing up for their own match. The usual MissFits were ready to play ball, and the Private Cousins made their return to the pitch, ready to strike out the other teams. But a guest all star team joined the game, and with a few homerun rounds (including a correct guess on the first clue of round 4), Quiz in Your Pants took the lead. It was the bottom of the 7th inning (round), the bases were full, and Private Cousins hit the ball out of the park with a second successful Double or Nothing play, giving Quiz in Your Pants a real run for their money. In the end, Quiz in Your Pants finished first.

Then it was onto the next activity: salsa dancing!
