About The Dudes' Brewing Co. - Santa Clarita

Here you can poke around and get some additional info.  We are a family owned and operated craft brewery founded in 2013, distributed in eight states and based in Torrance, CA (for everyone visiting from out of the SoCal area we are in Los Angeles). The Dudes’ specialize in innovative approaches to classic beer styles designed to appeal to casual beer drinkers and craft beer fanatics alike. In our Torrance, CA brewery or So. Cal. Tasting Rooms, twenty-four Dudes’ beers are always on tap, which include our staple favorites such as Double Trunk Double IPA, CalifornIPA, Grandma’s Pecan English Style Brown, Juicebox Series: Blood Orange Amber, as well as seasonal and test brews that can only be found in one of our locations.  Stop in for a flight or a pint, enjoy our weekly trivia nights, our monthly comedy shows or Yoga & Beer mornings, stay for a while or grab a crowler, growler or 4-pack to go, The Dudes’ gotcha covered.

The Fazzahs and Flying Solo topped Round 1, but were trailed closely by The Gainz of USA and Colin 4MC. By round 2, everyone's thinking caps were on and Past our Bedtime Threw themselves into the fray with SS Brews, and the Swingers! all scoring 5 points, but not too bitter about the first round. Scores were all over the place in round , but Somewhere in the middle was able to secure the first double-down of the night. Everyone was fairly confident by the third clue for round 4, and solidified their guesses in a nice bell curve, with no wrong answer from any team. Round 5 was hard, we...we don't wanna talk about round 5. Round 6, though, wow! Three successful double-downs really shook up the leaderboard as Flying Solo, Somewhere in the Middle, and Colin 4 MC leapt ahead. But it was a goose egg in round 7 that held Colin 4MC back, forcing them into a 3rd place tiebreaker with The Fazzahs from which they would not emerge victorious, sending The Fazzahs to third place, behind Flying Solo, and Somewhere in the Middle.

Wow, a lot of people showed up for trivia! It was a close one, too, thanks to some key doubles. In the end Flying Solo came out with the win, showing a surprising amount of useless trivia knowledge for just one man.

What a fine time of year for some trivia.

Eight Teams.

Seven Rounds.

Three Winners.

The teams had such fun this evening competing for the Beerful prizes. Although there weren't too many double downs, the ones that were locked in proved pivotal.

The Old Folks started off strong, being the only team to score 12 points in round 1, a feat they would repeat in rounds 3 and 6! Competition was all around, however as Somewhere in the Middle hovered near the top of the point totals every single round. It has to end someway, though, and with SITM unsuccessfully doubling down, Flying Solo was able to overtake them with a final round double and cinch third place.

Trivia Newton John commanded the lead, either scoring high, or doubling down every round, they left no sure point stray away, soaring into first.
