Eight teams braved the strong winds to congregate at The Dudes' Brewing Co. for a round of trivia. After the first round, most teams were even with four or five points. However, a successful double or nothing by Boner Thugz N' Harmony put them in the lead.

Round 2 continued the tight competition with nearly everyone naming five of the state quarters. The first major blow of the game came with round 3. Always Second attempted a double or nothing, which was unsuccessful. This left them at the bottom of the table along with Good Head.

Most teams struggled with identifying the celebrity in our Guess Who round, Jason Bateman. Boner Thugz N' Harmony was the only team to grab the 8 point clue, further securing their dominating lead. The rest of the game saw a tight battle for 2nd and 3rd place between Periodic Table Dancers, The Wookies, Go Eff Yourself, and Dudettes. Then came the final round. Boner Thugz N' Harmony had already secured the win with a whopping 21 point lead over the next best team. There were three teams all within a couple points of each other, however only two more could win free beer.

Go Eff Yourself and The Wookies played well, earning 7 and 6 points, respectively. Unfortunately this left Periodic Table Dancers out in cold, since they could only secure 3 points this round. Congratulations to this week's winners, Boner Thugz N' Harmony, Dudettes, and The Wookies!

What a raucous time. The teams were primed as The Dudes' Brewing Co. gathered a whole bunch of newcomers to challenge the regulars for Trivia Glory (and 4-packs of beer as prizes)! We even saw a team fracture as gendered rivalries divided tables!

With so many newcomers, round one stayed fairly conservative, a few bold moves in over-confident double-downs resulted in some zeroes, but all-in-all the playing field remained level-ish.

By round 4, the sting of incorrect answers was burning in everyone's minds and most teams waited until the penultimate clue to field a guess.

The real party, unsurprisingly, came in the drinking round. A flurry of gestures made up the battle of Rocheambeau, with one head-to-head match tying 5 times in a row before an epic scissors took down shockingly feeble paper. Alex (second from left in our photo above), of "The Alex and Evan Extreme Show", was defeated in his Rock-Paper-Scissors round, but would go on to land his team 3rd place overall in the game, here's hoping he shares some of that beer with his dad - or, you know, all of it.

Looking to cover some major ground in the final rounds, several teams risked their standing for double-downs, but were not triumphant.

QUIZ RECAP

It was a quieter night at the Dudes'...until we rocked the house with 7 rounds of trivia glory.

8 teams started the game, playing conservatively in round one with no attempted double-downs - perhaps a Dudes' first!

Round 2 saw our first successful double-down from "Thing 1 and Thing 2 know Trivia, too!", but "the Falcons (aka Butt Crusher)" and "PRDMAE" led the pack of the non-double-downers, but would it be enough to catch up?

Round 3 was wicked hard, y'all. Hella teams bombed it, we all hurt. Thank goodness for beer.

Round 4, hot with the sting of the round 3,  kept most teams guessing for the Grohl until well into the lower point clues.

"Ty and Valerie" joined the game in round 5, and stunned the crowd with a successful round 6 double-down bringing their score into contention for the final prizes!

Round 7 was a stumper, perhaps because it's shocking which movies didn't get nominated this year, but all good things come to an end, and our night finished with a flourish. "Thing 1 and Thing 2 know Trivia, too", clear dominators of the scoreboard finished first, with the Falcons 9 points behind in second place. The third podium and Prize went to "Prdmae", who surprised themselves by edging our "Ty and Valerie" by only 2 points!
