About The Dudes' Brewing Co. - Santa Clarita

Here you can poke around and get some additional info.  We are a family owned and operated craft brewery founded in 2013, distributed in eight states and based in Torrance, CA (for everyone visiting from out of the SoCal area we are in Los Angeles). The Dudes’ specialize in innovative approaches to classic beer styles designed to appeal to casual beer drinkers and craft beer fanatics alike. In our Torrance, CA brewery or So. Cal. Tasting Rooms, twenty-four Dudes’ beers are always on tap, which include our staple favorites such as Double Trunk Double IPA, CalifornIPA, Grandma’s Pecan English Style Brown, Juicebox Series: Blood Orange Amber, as well as seasonal and test brews that can only be found in one of our locations.  Stop in for a flight or a pint, enjoy our weekly trivia nights, our monthly comedy shows or Yoga & Beer mornings, stay for a while or grab a crowler, growler or 4-pack to go, The Dudes’ gotcha covered.

11 teams, 7 Rounds, uncounted pints. It was a warm and relaxing night at the Dude's, just the way he'd like it.

Round 1 started out optimistically, but Round 2 was when the double-downs started coming in a flurry. Mobilized by their success, teams forged forward with a confidence that paired amazingly well with the delicious brews of the Dudes' Brewing Company. By round 4, everyone was in double-digits, but points were beginning to stabilize. successful double-downs ensured the top spots for BABBs, Flying Solo, and Titanic Swim Team.

We had an awesome and busy evening (even if it looked like the middle of the day)

A wealth of newcomers, but many registered to get their 2 bonus points - an oft suggested strategy.

Round 1 was a nice introduction, but early-scorers "Smith-Smith" and "Pharell and Elphaba" taught everyone a thing or two about double downs.

Rounds 2 and 3 had a fairly wide point spread as the questions began to specify in categories.

Round 4 kept folks conservatively at bay, and a few held off entirely, keeping themselves from scoring less than zero for the round.

5 saw some drop off as a few double-downs began to dramatically widen the gap and a few teams found that math was ever against them.

Rounds 6 and 7 had a glut of forlorn hopes as double-downs became the only way to possibly launch to the podium, but the defending leaders were too strong and ruled the day.

Teams Trickled in during the longest day of the year. Our solsticers would not let an equinox stand in the way of Trivia!

TWO teams opened the game with successful double-downs, and TWO again in round 2! amazing. Round 3 brought a bit of a reality check as teams weren't sure which way to go.

Round 4 saw a lot of headscratching as teams remained unfamiliar with Victorian Writers until the low point clues with four teams abstaining altogether to keep as many precious points as Possible.

Round 5 had a fairly wide spread while in round 6, every team surprised themselves with a rather accurate knowledge of second cities! Round 7 put their home-turf knowledge to the test, however, and although teams fought valiantly, "Make Trivia Great Again", "Flying Solo", and newcomers "Somewhere in the Middle" (who also provided a fine doodle you can see in tonight's photos), took the beer.
