QUIZ RECAP

Who's in 1st? Well, name a team and at some point, they were probably winning. To start the Sanderson Sisters were the team to beat. But then they had some serious missteps in Round 3. They had a double or nothing that ended up nothing and in Round 4 they ended up losing a point. This is when the Sanderson sisters apparently did not have the potion to win and bid us adieu. Pulling ahead with a successful double or nothing in Round 5, SG took the lead. In Round 6, Faculty took over by 2 points over Pfister and in Round 7, Faculty kept the lead to take 1st place.

Congrats to All! This was my first time at JJ Pfister and I really enjoyed it. The staff, the food, and the drink were all excellent!

Photo note: SG League was playing and watching the football game on TV. The pushups had more to do with the game than the quiz.

QUIZ RECAP

It was a busy night at JJ Pfister Distilling and the décor indicated the official start of spooky season! Questions tonight ranged from famous Harolds and Maudes (but not the movie Harold and Maude) to movies released this year of our lord, 2022.  Returning team The Faculty got off to a strong start with a successful double or nothing during our first round.  However, multiple teams were looking to give them chase in their search for trivia victory, including Team Chad, CHIM, Fared, and Champagne Campaign all of whom had strong rounds throughout the game.  While first place seemed a near certainty for The Faculty to take the top spot of the night, second place was up for grabs.  Our last round quizzed our teams on both American political parties and songs with “party” in the title.

After all was said and done, the Faculty held onto their first place position while Fared claimed the second place spot (both taking home gift certificates for JJ Pfister).  Team Cheers won the elusive mystery bag of the night.  I’ll see everyone next Thursday at 6:30 for a night of drinking and trivia!
