QUIZ RECAP
It was a tight crowd tonight at JJ Pfister and I was happy to see a lot of returning faces in the crowd tonight (including my favorite team mascot, Monkey Potato). Questions tonight ranged from 2004 People Sexiest Man Alive Jude Law to one of my favorite topics, Bond girls (I’ll take any chance to nerd out over Bond movies). Returning team (and last week’s victors) The Firm got off to an early head start with a successful double or nothing during the first round, but team Clay’s Favorites started to gain on them in round three with their own successful double or nothing. The two teams had a close battle throughout the rest of the game, culminating in our final round, which asked teams about the topic I know so little – sports.
Able to name more of the Big Ten schools, team Clay’s Favorites took the top spot of the night, winning two tickets to the upcoming Best in Sac party. The Firm took second prize with team SSA winning the mystery bag of the night. Come around next Thursday at 6:30 to sip on cocktails while testing your trivia might!

It was another busy night at JJ Pfister Distilling Company and we had a room and patio full of intrepid minds ready and willing to answer a wide variety of trivia questions. In a very elitist night, rounds tonight ranged from the richest people on the Earth (bleh) to luxury fashion houses (Kirkland, as one team guessed, was not one). Team NotYourAveRAGEMommas got off to a big head start after a successful double or nothing in the second round and a successful first clue answer in our Guess Who round and were shaping up to be the winners of the night, but blew the game wide open after they had to leave following round five. Returning team The Faculty launched into first place going in to our final list round.
In the end, regulars The Faculty took first place and team Rhymes with Rhengis Rhan took second place. Returning Team Whoops! took the elusive second the last place spot of the night and weren’t too bothered by me hovering over the table to find out what was in the mystery bag. Come around on Thursdays at 6:30 for food, drinks, and (most importantly if you ask this quizmaster) trivia!

QUIZ RECAP
It was another packed house at JJ Pfister Distilling Company tonight and our teams enjoyed sipping delicious cocktails as they went through the trivia gauntlet. Our questions tonight ranged from Greek gods to that venerable fictional ape man, Tarzan. We had multiple teams get off to a strong start with a double or nothing in the first round. As the game moved on, teams Little Einsteins, Smartinis, Huh??, and Nameless Nobodies began to break out from the pack, some through their own successful double or nothings and other through sheer hard work. It all came down to our final round which asked our teams to identify the most commonly found grocery stores in these United States (no love from our teams for that staple of Southeastern grocery stores, Publix).
In the end, team Little Einsteins took the first place spot with team Smartinis taking second place (a big leap from their prior second to last place spot). Team The Bee’s 🐝 took home the second to last place mystery bag. Come around next Thursday at 6:30 for food, cocktails, and trivia!
