QUIZ RECAP
It was yet another night of exciting trivia at JJ Pfister Distilling Company and our teams were PUMPED. As a child of the 90s, I took personal offense at the decision to call a 90s toy themed round “Oldplay.” I was also forced to relive my experiences with my malfunctioning Furby that wouldn’t eat and the shin-bruising torture device/toy Skip It. Team Here for the Beer (who didn’t seem disappointed at the lack of beer at JJ Pfister, because who needs beer when you have delicious cocktails) came out to an early lead after round two, but team Buzzed came up from behind in round five after a successful double or nothing. It all came down to our final round, which asked our teams to name the Beach Boys’ biggest hits (one of my favorite topics ever, I mean it this time). Team Buzzed came out victorious in the end, able to name more Beach Boys songs.

It was another busy night of trivia at JJ Pfister Distillery and our teams were ready for some hardcore no holds barred trivia! Questions ranged from a Toy Story themed round to the alter egos of famous musicians (Prince’s female alter ego Camille was news to me). I also expressed my strongly held opinion on the true villain of the Home Alone movies, Buzz McAllister, nor did I miss the opportunity to brag about my Oregon Trail skillz. Teams started off evenly matched, but teams Schminers and Team That Shall Not Be Named broke out from the pack.
In the end, Teams That Shall Not Be Named and Schminers took first and second place respectively, both taking home vouchers for JJ Pfister! Come on around on Thursdays at 6:30 for some amazing cocktails, tasty food, and trivia!

Things have been picking up steam at JJ Pfister the further we get into the new year, with a house full of eager minds ready to test their trivia knowledge. I also was happy to see multiple friendly returning faces tonight! Teams were feeling bold tonight, with multiple shots at double or nothing. Our third round asked teams about that venerable hype man Flavor Flav, who I, in an act of mercy on tonight’s players, did not attempt to impersonate (the same cannot be said about my attempted Admiral Akhbar impression in round five). Multiple teams showed their expertise in the area of First Ladies in round six. However, team The Laras was bold throughout the night and managed to pull it through in the end with a successful double or nothing in our final round.
The Laras and team Center of Attention both walked away with prizes for JJ Pfister. Come around on Thursdays at 6:30 to test your trivia might!
