If you haven't been to JJ Pfister yet, you are missing out. The BEST Old Fashioned in town, with delicious food and a great staff! THE WAIT STAFF CARRIES BLOWTORCHES. 

Anyway, what a great night for trivia here at JJ! We tested our teams' knowledge of famous Austrailians, maths, movie sequels, and championship sports teams! It was neck and neck for Pfister? I hardly know her!, and IP 4 liiiiife, but in the end, IP 4 liiiiife's sports knowledge proved to be their greatest asset, pulling a win in the last round! 

Also, always remember to stick around until the end since we do award a prize to the next-to-last place team! And if you leave, we'll totally give it to someone else!

QUIZ RECAP

It was our biggest turnout of the year so far at JJ Pfister and our teams were pumped.  I anticipated some Will Smith references amongst our team names tonight and teams Will Smith’s Right Hand and Fresh Prints didn’t disappoint.  Our teams were questioned on a range of topics tonight, from 90s R&B group Boyz II Men to a Chinese Zodiac themed round.  Team Fresh Prints came out to an early lead with a successful double or nothing in our first two rounds.  However, teams no thank you and The Big Fact Hunt (whose name I was careful to enunciate) started to gain on them in the following rounds.  It came down to our final round, which asked our teams to dig into their knowledge of late-stage capitalism and figure out the world’s most valuable brands.  While some teams came close, no one was quite able to catch up with team Fresh Prints.

Teams Fresh Prints and The Big Fact Hunt both walked away with gift certificates for JJ Pfister!  Come around on Thursdays at 6:30 to prove that you have the sheer iron will it takes to claim the trivia crown of the week!

QUIZ RECAP

It was great to be back at JJ Pfister on this lovely (if not hot, given it’s only March) evening and our teams were ready for some hardcore trivia.  In a continuing trend of recent weeks, our teams were very evenly matched so we had a real barn burner on our hands.  I was happy to welcome back a number of happy returning faces along with my former friendly Campus Brewing (RIP) rivals Cheddar Traditioñal.  Our teams were grilled on topics that ranged from athletes that rocked the number 23 to cryptocurrency (which I still have zero understanding of).  In round five, team Another Drink Please launched themselves into first place with a successful double or nothing.  While the rest of our teams gave it the college try, no one could quite catch up to Another Drink Please.

First timers Another Drink Please took our coveted top spot of the night, with Cheddar Traditioñal taking the second place prize.  Come around on Thursdays at 6:30 for delicious drinks, tasty food, and trivia!
