QUIZ RECAP
It was a beautiful day to be back at JJ Pfister Distillery and our teams were pumped for a night of trivia. Our teams’ knowledge was tested on questions that ranged from a round based around that classic film Snakes on a Plane to television show creators. From the start, teams Them and Team DenJay were in a dead heat with one another, tied for the first four rounds of the game. Then, in round five, Them pulled ahead with a double or nothing. Then it was a battle between Team DenJay and The Defectors for the second place.
In the end, Them took our coveted top stop of the evening and The Defectors took second place after a strong showing in the final two rounds. Come around on Thursdays at 6:30 for food, drink, and trivia!

QUIZ RECAP
My desire for a rain free evening was answered at the last minute and we a had a full house of eager minds looking to test their trivia knowledge while downing delicious cocktails. We had some interesting rounds this evening from a mystery novel themed round to a Winnie the Pooh/William “The Refrigerator” Perry round (I never thought I’d see those two combined into one themed round, but there you go). Returning Team Chad got off to an early head start with a successful double or nothing in the first round, managing to hold onto that lead while team You’re a Quizzard, Harry! started to gain on them later on in the game. It all came down to our final round, which tested our teams’ knowledge of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and guitar greats. Team Chad were ultimately able to hold onto their lead and claimed the trivia crown of the week.
Team Chad and team You’re a Quizzard, Harry! both walked away with prizes tonight, with Team Chad winning the special prize of tickets to the Taco Throwdown this Saturday ($120 value). I hope to see everyone again next week!

QUIZ RECAP
It was great to be back at JJ Pfister Distillery after a week off (sorry, guys, John Mulaney was in town) and I was happy to see that our teams were not deterred by the inclement weather. Our categories ranged from real people portrayed on TV (everyone, please watch the HBO miniseries John Adams now if you haven’t already) to a famous novel themed round. It was a very close game throughout between Team Chad and It's Ben's birthday, he's 43 now (happy 43rd birthday, Ben!), but late joining team Hoya Saxa proved a strong competition for them. After team It’s Ben’s Birthday pulled ahead by one point in our penultimate round, it was anybody’s game going into the final round (which involved presidential history, one of my favorite subjects). In the end, team It’s Ben’s Birthday took the coveted spot of the evening.
Teams It's Ben's birthday, he's 43 now won a special prize of tickets to the Taco Throwdown (a $120 value) while Team Chad received a gift voucher for JJ Pfister! I look forward to seeing everyone next Thursday at 6:30 when skies will hopefully be clear!
