QUIZ RECAP
It was great to be back at JJ Pfister after a week off for Thanksgiving and our teams were raring to play! Our questions ranged from Time Magazine people of the year to The Beatles – incidentally, if you have not seen Peter Jackson’s Get Back documentary - please do so right now, it’s amazing. It came out to a neck-and-neck battle between teams Distilled Trivia and maybe later, the latter of which launched into first place seemingly out of nowhere with a successful double or nothing in round five. After round seven, it came out to a TIE for first place between our two dominant teams! The drama of it all! Team Distilled Trivia came out on top in our tie breaker round, coming closer to the height of the Disney EPCOT Center’s geodesic sphere (180 feet in case you were wondering).
Teams maybe later and Distilled Trivia both walked away with gift certificates for JJ Pfister! Come join us Thursdays at 6:30 and go through the trivia gauntlet!

QUIZ RECAP
It was Aggies Night along with King Trivia night at JJ Pfister Distilling Company so we had plenty of UC Davis Alumni on hand to take a shot at our trivia crown of the week. It was a nail-biter between teams Yes, Please and Anklebiters who both took an early bold move with a successful double or nothing in Round Two. However, team Yes, Please was able to pull out ahead in our Guess Who round, correctly guessing rapper Ludacris after the first clue! Midway through the night, UC Davis mascot Gunrocker came by to help us out with a special Aggies themed bonus round, which team Doesn’t Matter came out victorious in, winning an Aggies swag bag as well as tickets to the upcoming Causeway Classic between UC Davis and Sac State!
Teams Yes, Please and Anklebiters walked away with gift vouchers to JJ Pfister. Moving forward, Thursdays will be both King Trivia night and Aggies Night at JJ Pfister Distilling Company! However, all are welcome, Aggies or not! This former Cal Bear certainly felt at home! Have a great Thanksgiving next week and we’ll see you for trivia at JJ Pfister again on December 2!

QUIZ RECAP
It was a busy Veteran's Day evening at JJ Pfister Distilling Company and our teams were quizzed on a wide range of topic, from Ryan Reynolds to dinosaurs! Our teams were feeling bold this evening, taking multiple shots at double or nothing (with mixed results). Our winning team of the night, team PB1.4, aced rounds on cookies and international capitals. Team Albert Beerstein (whose name I foolishly mispronounced half the night) came in a close second place. A team of (soon to be) Newlyweds took third place. I fully expect an invitation to the upcoming nuptials now.
