QUIZ RECAP

Another fun one at Mudrocks tonight!  Bet The Farm were high scorers out of the gate with 6 of a possible 6 in Round 1; Unicorns Of The Apocalypse jumped a point ahead of them after Round 2 but all teams were within 2 points of each other at that point.  The Even Primes and Taylor's Version each hit a successful double-or-nothing in Round 3 to separate themselves from the field,,,,though The Even Primes and Bet The Farm each took a -1 in the Guess Where round and gradually faded from the competition.  The rest of the evening turned into a 2-way race between Taylor's Version and the Unicorns. Unicorns Of The Apocalypse finished strong with 8-7-5 (20 of a possible 30) in the final 3 rounds to close the gap on Taylor's Version (7-7-4) but Taylor's Version had enough of a cushion to coast to the win, 4 points in front of the Unicorns.  Thanks to all who played, see you next week!

QUIZ RECAP

Thanks everyone for another good game at Mudrocks tonight!  Taylor's Version jumped out to the early lead with 6 of a possible 6 in each of the first 2 rounds and a successful double-or-nothing in Round 3....and tonight they led wire to wire.  First-timers Legend Of Bophades (don't ask) were steady and consistent and kept creeping up on the leaders but eventually fell 2 points short and took 2nd place. Wooshkie took a -1 in the Guess Who round to fall off the pace but finished strong to take 3rd, while The Donnas were also steady all night.

QUIZ RECAP

Another fun night, and another great game at Mudrocks tonight! Taylor's Version converted a successful double-or-nothing in Round 1 to take a lead they held all night...until the finish line.  Jetstars on the other end of the spectrum tried for a double and missed, netting zero and leaving them fighting uphill all night.  Sitzpinklers were high scorers in Round 2 (6 of a possible 8), while Taylor's Version scored 8 of a possible 8 to maintain their lead after 3 rounds.  When Jetstars took a -1 in the Guess Who round, they seemed out of the running while Taylor's Version & The Even Primes each answered correectly for 8 points.  Jetstars hit a successful double in the Find The Connection round for 20 points, catapulting them back into contention, and they finished strong with 9-10 to score 19 of a possible 20 points over the final two rounds; Taylor's Version tallied 6-4 in those rounds to fall into a tie with Jetstars. But Sitzpinklers, after taking a zero in a failed double bid in Round 6, hit a successful double for 20 points in the final round to pass everyone and win the night!  Jetstars answered closer in the tiebreaker question to take 2nd place in front of Taylor's Version.  Thanks to newcomer Roo who hung in for 6 rounds until his battery died.  Thanks everyone, let's do it again next week!
