QUIZ RECAP

Good times tonight at Mudrocks! Jetstars and The Even Primes each converted successful double-or-nothing bids to jump out to an early lead, and Jetstars and How I Met Your Mothra were high scorers in Round 2 with 7 of a possible 8; Monica laZYNski joined in at Round 2 and slowly reeled in the pack all night. Jetstars and How I Met Your Mothra converted doubles in Round 3 but newcomers Electric Waistbands made up a lot of ground by being the first team to correctly answer Guess Who for 10 points in recent memory - well done! Electric Waistbands then hit a double for 20 points in the Find The Connection round (5) to leapfrog the pack and move into the lead...until Jetstars returned the favor with a double of their own in Round 6 to grab the lead back; The 618ers suffered a failed double bid and dropped out of contention.  All that was left for Jetstars was to post a decent score in the final round, and their 6 (of a possible 10) was more than enough to clinch the win, 5 points in front of Electric Waistbands; How I Met Your Mothra took 3rd.  Well played, everyone, see you next week!

QUIZ RECAP

Another fun one at Mudrocks tonight!  Bet The Farm were high scorers out of the gate with 6 of a possible 6 in Round 1; Unicorns Of The Apocalypse jumped a point ahead of them after Round 2 but all teams were within 2 points of each other at that point.  The Even Primes and Taylor's Version each hit a successful double-or-nothing in Round 3 to separate themselves from the field,,,,though The Even Primes and Bet The Farm each took a -1 in the Guess Where round and gradually faded from the competition.  The rest of the evening turned into a 2-way race between Taylor's Version and the Unicorns. Unicorns Of The Apocalypse finished strong with 8-7-5 (20 of a possible 30) in the final 3 rounds to close the gap on Taylor's Version (7-7-4) but Taylor's Version had enough of a cushion to coast to the win, 4 points in front of the Unicorns.  Thanks to all who played, see you next week!

QUIZ RECAP

Thanks everyone for another good game at Mudrocks tonight!  Taylor's Version jumped out to the early lead with 6 of a possible 6 in each of the first 2 rounds and a successful double-or-nothing in Round 3....and tonight they led wire to wire.  First-timers Legend Of Bophades (don't ask) were steady and consistent and kept creeping up on the leaders but eventually fell 2 points short and took 2nd place. Wooshkie took a -1 in the Guess Who round to fall off the pace but finished strong to take 3rd, while The Donnas were also steady all night.
