QUIZ RECAP

Good times tonight at Mudrock's!  Jetstars hit a successful double-or-nothing to start the game, and were honestly never challenged thereafter; they were high scorers (or at least tied for high score) in EVERY ROUND!! First timers Tuesday Night Club and Slungry Borgs were competitive, but the hopes of each were killed by a -1 in the Guess Who round.  By contrast, last minute joiners Live Like Betty started very slowly but rallied late to make a more-than-respectable showing. Hats off to Old Flames who hung around for most of the night but finished strong to take 2nd place.  Thanks all, see you next week!

QUIZ RECAP

We did it OLD SCHOOL tonight, with paper and pencil!  Great turnout, great game!  Jetstars and Nervous Brewer Fans each hit a successful double-or-nothing in BOTH rounds 1 & 2, and the game was a 2-team race for the rest of the night....in fact they finished in a tie for 1st! (Jetstars hit another double in Round 3, but the 0 they took in the extremely difficult Guess Who round allowed the Brewers Fans to catch up).  McSnackie were steady throughout and finished 3rd, in a tie with #momjeans (tip of the hat to Adrienne for doing so well by herself!). Electric Chargers finished strong to take 5th; Outsiders, Old Flames and Skye Blue all finished neck-and-neck to complete a REALLY fun night.  But back at the top....

A tiebreaker question became necessary, and the (now Sad) Brewers Fans had the closer guess to nose out Jetstars.  See you all next weeek!

QUIZ RECAP

What a great night!  Seven teams, an out-of-nowhere winner, a tiebreaker...we had it all tonight!  Taylor's Version jumped out in front with a successful double-or-nothing in Round 1...and The Good Guys set an unfortunate precedent by trying for a double and taking a zero, their first of 3 on the night. #momjeans scored doubles in Rounds 2 & 3 to take the lead, and Old Flames (they really are) also doubled in Round 3 to stay near the top. Taylor's Version, Old Flames and Jetstars were the only teams to correctly Guess Who (each for 6 points), and after 5 rounds it was #momjeans in 1st, Old Flames 3 points back, Taylor's version in 3rd by 3 points, and Jetstars 10 points off the pace.  BUT THEN...Jetstars hit a double in Round 6 to jump into a tie for 1st.  Both Jetstars and #momjeans got 10 of a posssible 10 in the final round....only to see Taylor's Version hit a double to win by a single point!  Those two had to answer a tiebreaker question for the 2nd place prize, and #momjeans were closer to take 2nd place.  Well played everyone, see you all next week!
