Pour is focused on bringing the community together.  We are creating an environment that showcases the quality craftsmanship of beers available to the world today, with an emphasis on Colorado craft beer.  Our focus is providing the community an exceptional environment to socialize, relax and interact with one another while experiencing all that properly served beer has to offer… one “Pour” at a time.

 

What we are:

 

Pour is a craft beer tap house with 30 draft lines focusing on the best beer we can source.  We have a constantly varying beer selection from the best breweries available.  Our taps have a wide variety of high-end craft beer that will appease the newest beer connoisseur to the oldest and most experienced beer snob.  We offer very basic snacks, but encourage you to bring whatever food you would like to enjoy while you partake in our beer selection.  We can make beer and food pairing suggestions to enhance your experience and will be conducting pairing events and education seminars routinely.  Finally, we are working with quality food trucks to bring some great food to our neighborhood while enhancing business opportunities for some very motivated individuals.  We look forward to seeing you at Pour and will gladly host any type of social gatherings you can dream up.

Woo Hoo! Thrillingly fun night of trivia at Pour Tap House! Initially it seemed like we might be a small crowd, but more teams started trickling in close to the witching hour. Mountain Melt offered up delicious grilled cheese from their food truck (those tots are also super yummy). Mary and Matt held it down behind the bar and kept everyone happy. A couple of new teams, which is always fun, plus a few blasts from the past. 

Hands down, the best answers of the night came during Round 2. I particularly enjoyed the team that substituted G-spot for Golf Channel. The juxtuposition - *chef's kiss.* I was told that I may have alienated the players who enjoy golf with my joke about that, but I have zero regrets. Most teams guessed too early in Round 4 and got it wrong, but hey, that happens sometimes. Lots of fun figuring out ice cream flavors in Round 6 ("tiger tail" sounds disgusting though, imo). I Took A Nap, I'm Still Tired successfully stumped the quizmaster. You know, the day I get a question right, I'm going to give the entire bar a round of drinks on me. Until then, everyone will have to suffer through my ignorance.

Awesome job to long-lost teams GOP and Midas Whales for getting first and second place, respectively. We missed your pretty faces! Great job to Disobedient Avocados for getting the mystery place bar cash based on their excellent Round 3 answer. And the prize for best team name went to Swoll Mates, of course.

Yay for trivia! Yay for tacos! Yay for Game 6 of the World Series!  It was a drizzly evening outside of Pour Tap House, but we managed to stay nice and dry inside. Fajita Junction served up deliciousness, and Mary and Matt ensured a jovial atmosphere by handling their business behind the bar. We had a few new teams join us, which is always a delight! There was some jostling through the rankings, which is also always a delight. 

Round 2 was tough, wasn't it? Although, most teams seemed to catch on eventually, getting some good scores and the end of the round. A few teams called it waaaaay too soon during Round 4 and missed the mark on our "guess what" question. But everyone and their mother seemed to make up for it in Round 7 when asked for their video game console knowledge. If only I had that skill during the Stump the Quizmaster round, I probably would have aced it. As it was, Luck of the Irish stumped me (but just barely!). 

Best Team Name had an excellent evening, staying in first place all night and winning the tie breaker round at the end by leaps and bounds. Chop floated up from the bottom to the near top and got second place. Bad Intentions took home the random-place bar cash for the best answer way back in Round 2. And What Willis Was Talking About of course walked away with the super secret mystery prize for best team name. Want to know what these mystery prizes are all about? You gotta come to trivia!

Helllloooo Quizzers! It was a rainy night in good ol' Commerce City, but we were nice and dry inside Pour Tap House for a fun evening of trivia. La Baja came back after a long hiatus and served up that to-die-for beef stew. Mary and Matt were the dynamic duo behind the bar slinging brews. It was a full house of regulars and newbies alike, and we all loved making fun of each other all evening long. 

Round 2 made us hungry, Round 5 made us nostalgic for 80s movies, and Round 7 proved just how popular Star Wars is. I think nearly every team got all 10 answers correct in Round 7, and most doubled up appropriately. Very impressive! Predictably, Names Are for Tombstones stumped this quizmaster with a question about Chicago. One day I'll get the answer right...ONE DAY!

Congrats to Mr. Smither's Fanny Pack for the first place win. Great job Danger Zone, comin' in hot for second place. Trivia Newton John edged out Names are for Tombstones during the tie breaker round to get 3rd place. And Slutpaws of course took home the super secret mystery prize for best team name.
