Hallo Friends! Welcome to another night of delicious tacos, tasty beers, and entertaining trivia at Pour Tap House. We had a lively group comprised of newbies and oldies and some blasts from the past (shout out to Reunion Renegades). La Baja had their awesome food truck outside with that to-die-for beef stew. Mary and Matt catered to our every drink-related need behind the bar. And there was an adorable baby who knocked it out of the park with his insane knowledge base.

I feel like I need to apologize again for my song choices in Round 2...do you all still have the Barney song stuck in your heads? Because I sure do. I was very impressed that teams picked up on the connection in Round 5, because it was a tough one. I cannot believe The Mofongos stumped this quizmaster. That literally NEVER happens (*sarcasm*). I greatly enjoyed the answers to Round 7 - North Dakota was a bold choice. A bold, completely incorrect, choice.

Way to go Danger Zone! You haven't had a first place win in quite some time, so I was very proud of you. You also have the honrable distinction of being the team to upset Cereal Killers' long-time, first place reign (no shame to Cereal Killers - I heart you!). Captain Geetch and the Shrimp Shack Shooters did an amazing job snagging second place and providing some incredible answers all evening long. Say What ?! took home the not-third-place prize for (1) Having the best wrong connection in Round 5 and (2) being an adorable couple who met on Tinder. And Pretty Pickle Tries it Again got the best team name award for, well, obvious reasons (although of course Leela Fry Bender was a cloooose second).

See you all next week for more tacos and trivia!

Howdy ya'll! We had a truly fantastic night of trivia, one that will go down in the books as, well, truly fantastic. Kristina and Matt got the job done behind the bar with excellent service all evening. We tried out a new food truck, Mountain Melt Co, and their G.O.A.T. grilled cheese was the absolute bomb. We've got more regulars coming to throw down the gauntlet on Tuesday evenings, and I couldn't be more thrilled with that!

How awesome was Round 5? Truly an excellent Find the Connection Round! I was also very impressed by team's knowledge of the characters from The Office. Dumb and Dumber stumped the quizmaster (is *anyone* surprised by that?) with an excellent French Revolution question that featured a tie-in to one of our Round 3 questions. Unfortunately I forgot my prize for best team name. But had I remembered, the prize would have gone to #cat because, duh, cats.

Great Job Can't Teach This for your first place victory, and thanks for bringing fun friends with you last night! Mr. Smithers' Fanny Pack took second place, employing his usual technique of getting help from folks sitting next to him at the bar. Trivia = making lasting friendships, one random question at a time. Unbearable (no emoji this time) got the coveted random place prize for the best answers in round 7.

See you next week for tacos and trivia!

Hi Diddly Ho, Trivia-rinos! A delightfully fun night at Pour Tap House for tacos and trivia, complete with the cool summer night breeze, stars twinkling above in the sky, and trivia teams screaming over each other about their delight with answering random questions about random facts. Truly, and idyllic scene. Thank you Mary and Heath for keeping us all happy and hydrated behind the bar, and thanks La Baja for being the food truck-stus with the most-us!

We had some newbies last night, which is always a delight! Welcom Pour Tap This and Team EllenMr. Smithers Fanny Pack joined us once again on his third trivia streak as a solid team of one.  Oh teams, you all struggled so, so much in Round 5. And I tried to help you with my song choices, but yet...it was an uphill battle for everyone. No shame in the game, though - everyone kinda rallied during the final round, coming up with lots of really popular TV shows and showing just how much we've all been glued to our screens during quarantine.

Great job Cereal Killers - this is your 4th win in a row? 5th? Names are for Tombstones came out of retirment and into 2nd place! Team Ellen walked away with random place for their excellent Round 1 answer (when is "Thunder Down Under" ever NOT a great answer?). And Pour Tap This got the super secret-y mystery prize for best team name (an candle made by a colorado artist with the inscription "You're awesome, keep that sh*t up!").

See ya'll next week for more tacos and trivia!
