A trivia night at Barney's Beanery Burbank as told through captions:

Pic 1: Pictured here is Melanie.  You may know her as the most vocal component of Exceedingly Average.  Or you may recognize her as my substitute this past summer.  Here she is, sitting on her phone, oblivious to the rules of the game.  But before you call her a cheater (save that for the guy whose jersey she's currently wearing...) I must stress that this picture was taken after the game had already ended.  Also, this picture was the third taken as Melanie was making obscene gestures in the first two that were clearly not appropriate for a fucking family friendly website.

Pic 2: This is Barney's current manager (REDACTED).  He told me that he hopes to (REDACTED) because his (REDACTED) once tried to (REDACTED) but instead has simply given his (REDACTED) to (REDACTED).  Also, he ask that you not follow the information on his shirt and follow him to Barney's as that would be considered "creepy" and "stalker-ish".

QUIZ RECAP

11 teams tonight duked it out for that ever so sweet Barney's gift card. Our final round asked our teams about SNL alums who have grossed the most in the domestic box office. Every team who doubled unfortunately ended up with goose eggs in that last round. But what many people can take away from that was that Robert Downey Jr. was actually a cast member of SNL (albeit in a doomed season from 1985-86, which almost saw the show being cancelled).

Our drinking round involved a round robin of the original 151 Pokemon. I actually wanted to do this round when I first started hosting, however the hype over Pokemon GO was too strong that I decided to save it.

Lastly, last night hosting regularly at Barney's Burbank. I will be returning to my usual spot as player/nemesis. Your usual host, Chris, will be back from his long summer away. Ask him all about it 😀
