Feeling the mid-week slump? We can't relate, because King Trivia at Barney's Beanery in Burbank on Wednesdays recharged our attendees!

Tea Lizards and These Gays, They're Trying to Murder Me! battled it out in an epic tiebreaker round about movie budgets. Despite a team name inspired by our queen Jennifer Coolidge, These Gays lost the crown to Tea Lizards, who emerged victorious! Congratulations!

And don't feel too bad: These Gays won our spelling bee Drinking Round, where the bravest team members tackled words like onomatopoeia, antediluvian, and connoisseur to score a pitcher of beer for their table.

There's no better spot in Burbank to celebrate the middle of the week than playing King Trivia at Barney's Beanery! It was anyone's game to win throughout the evening as our teams consistently tied on rank spots before Coffee Chameleons broke through to cinch the top spot at 62 points, leaving Da Bears and Tea Lizards to advance into a tie-breaker round to determine who would take home second place. While their guesses for the highest dollar and prize amount for a game of Wheel of Fortune were close to one another, it was Da Bears that managed to guess the closest to the real amount! 

Teams also sent their luckiest player up for a dice roll drinking round, where each team rep rolled a 20-sided die to get the highest number...resulting in our first player from Da Bears rolling a 20, which nobody else matched for a re-roll! Congrats on the double-win, Da Bears!
