QUIZ RECAP

What a night! We had eleven teams compete this week, which has been a high since returning to play at Barney's. With so many players and such close scoring, the game was up for grabs all night, seeing only one to two points separating most teams for the duration of the game!

The Ultimate Losers and Coven Lovers McGuffin were close for much of the night, closing out tied at 36 points, only slightly behind third runner up Goofs and Gaffs at 42. That score put Goofs only two points from the top three. The three teams who managed to walk away with thier gift cards from Barney's this week were (in ascending order) The Quizards of Waverly Place, Intravenus De Milo, and this weeks champion, We Always Come From Behind, with 44, 46 and 48 points respectively. 

Other high points included our Origami Pageant winners getting a promotional soccer ball from Sony Pictures' Early Man (2018) and scorekeeping/grading provided by our new Quizmaster in training, Warholy! All in all, it was another great week to play, and we can't wait to see you at the next one!

QUIZ RECAP

The weather this trivia night was hot and the competition was even hotter at Barney's this week. Lots of new faces and some tough Q's and A's.  We saw the premier of a new power team in Subie Gang who dominated with a devastating 63 points, beating out AD Team and Dr. Anthony Couch-ee with 43 and 32 respectively. 

Our top three teams walked away with Barney's Beanery gift gards for $50, $35 and $25 and we hope to see them and you next week at 8:45 for another round of King Trivia!

QUIZ RECAP

That's another big week in the books for the big brains at Barney's Beanery in beautiful Burbank! We have seen a lot of tough competition here in the weeks since we've been back and this week was no different. New faces and returning champions alike made their way onto the field of mental combat and while many competed, only one walked away with the coveted champion's title (and a $50 gift card). 

This week saw the Double-or-Nothing button giveth and taketh away, as returning friends of the game McFatterson bet big but miss that mark by just one, and Bounty Law beat that button like it owed them $50 to great effect! Second and third place for this week were new friends TWA and Venezuela FTW. The aforementioned Bounty Law sat high in the saddle in the number one position for their second time in three, using that double or nothing option SEVERAL times and securing a massive 25 point lead over the competition

This week also saw a return of the Drinking Round, where our competitors selected four letters at random and then had to name as many breakfast cereals as they could that started with those letters. Somehow, bounty law squeaked past the competition in that round as well, seeing their way to victory and winning a genuine home safari adventure (just add water and the animals pop right out of the capsule).

Overall, it was a great time and we were thrilled to see so many smiling faces back out again at Barneys, where we'll be next week, and every week until the sun collapses in on itself. We hope to see you as much as possible until then!
