QUIZ RECAP

When Vestabulous, god of Stars, called Jermanius, god of Questions, and asked him: "Hey, Jerm? Which star is the biggest?" and Jerm was like: "Dude, you're the god of stars. Why don't you know this? Whatever you do, don't ever be a trivia host for bars and stuff. They will never let you live it down. The answer is UY Scuti and don't ever call me again" and hung up. Vestabulous would never call Jermanius again, but would go on to name his first all-theramin band UY Scuti. They were supposed to open for Gorilla Casserole but the show was cancelled because of previously-scheduled pub trivia, much like the kind at Glendale Tap on Wednesday nights at 7:30. Let's talk!

In honor of round 2, the Drinking Round was "Who Can Do The Best Drunk?" One person from each team came up to the mic and acted drunk. Not suprisingly, The Neurodivergents won. She said something about wanting nachos and it brought the whole room together.

In third place was the aforementioned Neurodivergents with 42 points. In second was Jazz Cats with 50 points. But destroying the room was Bear Down with a downbearing 67 points for the win. Join us for more King Trivia fun at the Glendale Tap every Wednesday night at 7:30!

When Philamedes, god of bacon, discovered he was one pig short of a drift, he panicked. The God Squad Barbeque was in twelve hours and he wasn't gonna have enough meat. "Who can I borrow a pig from?" he asked his mom, Hydrangia. "How about Enophilgus?" she suggested. "Doesn't he owe you a sheep or something like that?" Philamedes jumped on his ostrich and booked it over to Enophilgus's castle. "Hey, Eno!" he shouted from below. "How 'bout a pig! I'm low for today." Enophilgus immediately threw a spare pig into a catapult and launched it over to Philamedes who caught it and turned right back home to continue preparation. "Thanks!" he called back. "I'll make sure you get extra slather!" The point is: Extra slather was exactly what The Glendale Tap got with King Trivia on Wednesday night. Let's talk:

The Drinking Round was a Clint Eastwood Impression. It helps when the guy you're doing the impression of doesn't talk that much.

In third place was Just The Kens with 60 points. In second was 55 Burgers with 61 (ouch) points. And in first was Live Laugh Love with 81. Come back next week for more King Trivia fun at The Glendale Tap.

When the goddess Vesta layed down her life for her brother Rockmore, whose gambling debts had long been getting out of hand, she thought for sure he'd be grateful. The Gods Of Strife had made a bet for his life that the number of Lothar's goats would not exceed one thousand. After final count, the beasts numbered about six thousand. "Rats!" he exclaimed. Suddenly a thousand rats appeared and made to kill him. "Wait!" Vesta yelled. "Take me instaead!" The rats quicklky conferred with each other and said: "Um, okay" and ate her face in quick order. Rockmore, suddenly saved, shrugged his shoulders, which were the size of mountains, and scampered off to the casino. Point is: Get your numbers right when wagering on how many of something there are. Like how people do on Wednesdays at the Glendale Tap at 7:30 for King Trivia! Let's talk.

Enough people had heard of Johnny Cash that a Cash Off was instigated for The Drinking Round. The Winner? Just The Kens with the lowest, slowest, and saddest rendition of "The Song About The Guy Who Got Shot." Good job!

Speaking of Just The Kens, they took third with 54 points. Live Laugh Love lived, laughed and loved all the way to second place with 60 points. And taking first was Megan's Illinois Marauders with a brain crushing 70 points!
