When Glominex, God Of Dust, emerged from his cave seeking a pencil, he happned on a small casserole full of some kind of noodle dish. He didn't have to ask who would be preparing their meals out in the hinterlands; he knew it was Dalia, Goddess Of Pasta. He knew her style, her ways, and her insartiable crush on him. "I said I'm not interested, Dalia!" Glominex roared to the heavens, knowing she'd hear him. "Give this to Pan. A god with a name like his would appreciate a dish like this." She responded, from behind a tree: "He said no thanks. He's watching his carbs." Glominex screamed and ran back into his cave for another thousand years where it was safe. If you'd like to know what Glendale Tap was like on Wednesday night, it was nothing like the preceding story.

In first place was James Blunt, in second was The Moops and in third was Queen Bees. 62 to 61 to 57. Straight up.

When Roderon, God of Grass, saw that his sod delivery was late (he’d been trying to get his lawn just the right shade of green for eons), he immediately called Girtheus, God Of Manure, for some advice. “You know how these things go,” said Girth, “when I get the last bill you ran up taken care of, you’ll get your sod.” Roderon was livid. “I ran up? Whattaya mean? Your manure was wanting!” This was not the first time Girth’s poop supply had been called “wanting” and he took offense to it. “I work with only the finest pigs,” defended. Girth. “No need to bring your mom into this,” answered Roderon. Well, that was the straw that broke the celestial camel’s back and brought the two gods together in the clouds for combat, knocking each other out in the stratosphere and falling to the earth broken and bloody. The moral is: Don’t do stuff like this at the Glendale Tap on Wednesday nights at 7:30 when King Trivia’s going on! Let’s talk!

Tonight’s Drinking Round was a competition to see who could do the best impression of Heath Ledger’s The Joker. It was called “Bring The Heath” and a guy on Burrito Supreme Court won it handily. Free drinks for them!

In third place tonight was Urethra Franklin. They saw their third place opening and took it with 51 points!  In second place was 55 Burgers with 56 points! And taking the whole night was Burrito Supreme Court with 64 points! Come back next Wednesday night and every Wednesday night for more King Trivia fun!

When Elektra, goddesss of outdoor BBQ's, found herself in need of extra molasses one day, she called her friend Xavier, god of clouds, and said: "Hey, can I swing by for some mo-mo?" ("Mo-mo" is what gods call molasses and everyone knows that.) Xavier scoffed: "How the hell am I supposed to give you any of my molasses when you destroyed my molasses trees with your war with the Groombas?" As the two gods argued, the Earth below remarked: "You know, while they argue we should have a trivia contest." Much like the one at the Glendale Tap every Wedneaday night at 7:30! Let's talk!

The Drinking Round was called "Who Can Do The Best Tasmanian Devil?" The winner? I Don't Know. I'm not saying I don't know who won. I'm saying the name of the team who won was I Don't Know. He did the spinning and most importantly the raspberry noises. Free drinks!
