What a GREAT night of trivia quiz fun at The Back Door Bakery Cafe this week! The delightful foursome of Darlene's Angels edged out the terrific trio of Slytherpuffs by just one slim point to take 3rd place.
Shaine Maidelas (down one maidela due to Robin's much lamented absence) landed in 2nd place after an up-and-down performance. And Hodge Podge led all scoring with a robust performance that put them in first place.
Old friends The 3 Caballeros announced their welcome return by changing their team name to We're Baaaaaaack! And we made some great new friends who called themselves Orange & Black, who really added something special to an already wonderful night.
Yup - that's Wednesday Night Trivia at The BDB in Sunland/Tujunga! Great food! Great friends! Great Fun! And we'll be back next week for lots more of the same! See ya then!

A tip of the cap to Team of Won, who delivered a stunning solo performance to finish in second place this week at The Back Door Bakery & Cafe. We're so impressed with her singularly excellent performance that we wanted to feature her in our photo array, but alas - she's as shy as she is smart, and declined to have her photo snapped.
Ya gotta wonder how she'd do if she recruited a few like-minded friends to join her in our weekly trivia battle. As a matter of fact, we wonder how you'll do, too! Come show us!

To be sure, Hodge Podge had a lock on first place this week at The Back Door Bakery and Cafe. But bubbling just below the surface was a tremendous battle for winner circle glory among three formidable teams.
The final scores look like stairsteps (43/42/40) with Shana Maidelas edging out Lady Samurai by just a single point! To complete the troika of competent competitors, The Late Birds were within two points of the leaders at game's end, and were poised to topple the Shanas and Samurai if there had been another round!
Perhaps next week, Late Birds? I have a hunch when they win (which they certainly will at some point soon) they may reveal themselves to be Mocking Birds - the way they trash talk the other teams all the time!!
Okay, I made that up. The Late Birds (photo #7 above) are a class act who would never mock anyone! I shouldn't have said that, and I'm ashamed of myself! (No I'm not. They're tough. They can take it!)
