The Dudes’ Brewing Company is a Torrance-based craft brewery founded in 2013. The Dudes’ specialize in innovative approaches to classic beer styles designed to appeal to casual beer drinkers and craft beer fanatics alike. The Dudes’ current offerings include: Double Trunk Double IPA, CalifornIPA, Grandma’s Pecan English Style Brown, JuiceBox Series: Blood Orange Amber, JuiceBox Series: Peach Berliner Weisse, Bohemian Hopsody Session IPA, The WRug White Russian Imperial Stout, Kölschtal Eddy Blonde Ale, Surfrider American Pale Ale as well as other seasonal offerings.

There was a time before, a time much simpler, where I didn't understand the winning team's name. When I began trivia last night, I hadn't yet experiences the nightmare kindling that is the new "Cats" movie trailer. Yet now, I as write this recap, I am all to familiar and am only reminded more and more of that atrocity thanks to our winning team: KITTY KITTY MEOW MEOW...'CAUSE CATS. They overtook perennial contenders SUN ASSEMBLY REQUIRED but four points in the final round to take the cake... well the beer. The beer is what they took. Those charming lads at I LOST MY VIRGINITY AT... 64 took third and forced me to be in their picture, which I have artfully cropped out.

Please join me at Dudes' Santa Monica next week for great food and beer along with special surprises on my FINAL TRIVIA SHOW. Ugh. I can't believe this day has come.

And they were worried about the post-July Fourth slump. That wasn't the case at Dudes' Santa Monica as 13 teams showed up to duke it out for that free beer. I had to compete with game shows on the big screens but it definitely ended up being a night to remember. Newcomers to Dudes' but old dances to me NO PANTS PARTY took the crown with 66 points, narrowly defeating the one-man show that is JESSICA'S TEAM at 64. TRIPLE BS had a birthday and a third place finish at 50, but they weren't disappointed at all.

Copa America, The Second Debate, and TRIVIA! It was one helluva night at Dudes' Santa Monica. Add to that a surprise order of garlic knots given to your fearless quizmaster, it was probably the greatest night we've have here. Will next time be just as amazing? You better come out to see!

Surprise, surprise... those talented chaps at MASTER (DE)BATERS took top prize yet again while TRIPLE B'S had an amazing late in the game double to clinch second for their team. Despite some sour pusses, I LOST MTY VIRGINITY AT... 49 were more than happy to share their single four-pack from third place.
