QUIZ RECAP

As Whitney once asked, "where do broken hearts go?" Well, this one went to trivia and had a great night with the regulars...and a few unsuspecting Valentine's dates who thought they would pop into Dudes' for a few beers. Little did they know that it was the best night to find yourself at Santa Monica Place because before the hearts and the candy, it was TRIVIA NIGHT. The classy gents at I LOST MY VIRGINITY AT... brought along a few females to round out their knowledge and it rocketed them to first place with 61 points. Last weeks winners dwindled to two players this week but QUIZ IN MY PANTS still came in second, besting BROS AND BREWS by a single point, leaving those first-round missers in a surprise third place victory.

I find love that Valentine's night? Well, in a way, because Whitney guided me to the THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL - learning to love myself. Also, I found myself at the discounted candy aisle at CVS, so the quiz master got his prize too.

It was an absolute crazy night at Dude's Santa Monica. Not only did we have a tie for first place, we also had a tie for third! Ultimately, it came down to the greatest steeplechase as the teams ran to be the first to name that tune. MORE BEER PLEASE bested I LOST MY VIRGINITY AT... by naming "Islands in the Stream" first and FAT KIDS ARE HARDER TO KIDNAP beat their table mates GEORGE CLOONEY TUNES by knowing "I Wanna Dance With Somebody."

Twas RAMS BY 6 by 14 as those stalwarts handedly walked away with yet another win at DUDE'S SANTA MONICA. After taking lead early on with a successful double, it was up to the teams to scramble for 2nd and 3rd. Ultimately, those charmers at MORE BEER PLEASE took 2nd and mysterious newcomers EBONY AND IVORY took 3rd. The chaps of E&I not only didn't want their picture for the website, but they also didn't want their prize and gave it to the 4th place death whom they defeated in a tie breaker. Wherever they are, I hope they return and I bet all 4th place teams feel the same.
