The Dudes’ Brewing Company is a Torrance-based craft brewery founded in 2013. The Dudes’ specialize in innovative approaches to classic beer styles designed to appeal to casual beer drinkers and craft beer fanatics alike. The Dudes’ current offerings include: Double Trunk Double IPA, CalifornIPA, Grandma’s Pecan English Style Brown, JuiceBox Series: Blood Orange Amber, JuiceBox Series: Peach Berliner Weisse, Bohemian Hopsody Session IPA, The WRug White Russian Imperial Stout, Kölschtal Eddy Blonde Ale, Surfrider American Pale Ale as well as other seasonal offerings.

Go Chargers! At least that's what people told me I should say during our game. Apparently LA has not one, but TWO footballs teams now and one of them won. Who knew? Most of the people at the bar for sure as the great turnout for trivia had those lightning bolts to thank. WHISKEY BUSINESS took an early lead and did not look back, ending atop the podium with 1st. Those *cough* delightful kids of I THOUGHT THIS WAS SPEEDING DATING took 2nd, and HUH?WHAT? (who almost left after round 1) took 3rd.

Another close fight until the bitter end, as newcomers BOOP TROOP ousted perennial champs I LOST MY VIRGINITY AT... in the final round. Boop Troop lead the game but Virginity came roaring back in the second round. Despite some grumbles on Virginity, both teams were jazzed to get their prizers. LAME DUCK DICTATORS took 3rd.

I love the rain, don't you? It's cool and calming, and it drives everyone inside off the patio to play trivia! While the storm was brewing, we had a great night of trivia at Dudes' Santa Monica! Only four teams, but it was neck and neck until the bitter end.

I LOST MY VIRGINITY AT...56 took first place (surprise, surprise!) with newcomers THE GALS and and SANTA'S L'IL HELPERS (or SANTOS L. HALPER for those Simpsons fans) filled out of the podium and walked away with beer. Those poor TERMINATORS, always the bridesmaids... sooner or later you will get some free beer!
