QUIZ RECAP

It was perfect Trivia weather at The Federal and 11 teams came to win. The first round saw multiple teams dominate with Gazpacho, Agents of the Zeitgeist, Saved by the Bell Biv Devoe, Semper Parathas, and The Irregardless each doubling to earn 12 points. 

These top teams stayed in the lead, with Gazpacho in first place, for most of the night. Ultimately, geography proved difficult for many teams allowing Agents of the Zeitgeist to overthrow their familiar foes, landing in first place in the end.

Cheer If You Like Beer won the drinking round of the night with their knowledge regarding when the first, fourth, and last Harry Potter books were released.

Eight highly competitive teams turned out for Trivia on an oddly quiet summer night at The Federal. Newbies LittleWomen played gallantly against veteran competitors like The Gapes of Ass who landed in 3rd place behind Saved By The Bell Biv Devoe and Gazpacho, who took first and second prize respectfully. 

As for the drinking round, teams were asked to submit an entry of the cutest Kitten and Cat photos, videos, and gifs for Quizmaster Yael to select from. Although the decision was challenging, Bell Biv Devoe's ginger kitten discovering itself in the mirror was especially adorable, earning them a round of drinks.

The Federal in North Hollywood was poppin' tonight for Trivia with over 10 teams competing for the top prize. New Years Eve Nurses took an early lead, but the second round restructured everything with true Anime fans The NoHoHos, Certified Chodes, and Prop 65 doubling their way to the top 3 spots. 

That said, they didn't stay there long, because Gazpoacho's score jumped after they doubled round 3 and they shot to first place with a double in round 5. The final round, relating to Africa countries, tripped up all the teams allowing New Years Eve Nurses to retake the top, passing everyone and landing in first place with 66 points, followed closely by Gazpacho with 62. 

Although Salty Dogs joined in round 2 and gave up after round 4, they deserve honorary mention for their participation, as do the adorable dogs who attended tonight's festivities.
