QUIZ RECAP

The Federal was packed with nearly every table filled by a reservation for Trivia. With some rounds resulting in nearly every team getting the answers and other rounds where no one knew it all, it truly was anybody's game. 

Although veteran teams like Gazpacho and  New Year’s Eve Nurses started closer to the bottom, Illuminati by Nature and That Good Garbage started closer to the top, everything flipped after round 5.  In the end, Talk Nerdy To Me took the lead and dominated the night. 

Highlights of the evening inluded the return of the meet-up, playing with two teams, and the amount of times Quizmaster Yael was made to profess her love as she read the scores with I’m in Love With You, Phil. Even with the cooler temperatures and disappointing musical drinking round, the night turned out to be incredibly fun.

QUIZ RECAP

The Federal was packed for Trivia tonight, requiring tables to be added to the outdoor patio. (Please note that The Federal appreciates reservations for Monday night trivia going forward). After a suprisingly challenging first round, The NoHomos took an early lead and by round 2 were the top team for the first time ever. Unfortunately, their victory was short lived as they dropped below some of our more veteran teams. 

The Taylor Swift find-the-connection round stumped many players so a musical themed drinking round was appreciated. Although Gapes of Ass thought they knew the 3 bands, they were incorrect and Fart Garfunkel won a round of drinks, as well as second place for the night behind Gapes. 

It was an exciting and lively night, and many teams are ready for a rematch, but they may need to wait as The Federal might be closed for Memorial Day... stay tuned with King Trivia or check with The Federal if you call to make a reservation. 

QUIZ RECAP

The Federal was at capacity as a large group surprised Quizmaster Yael and the regulars. After getting everyone situated the game began. By Round 2, Purple Monkey Dishwasher was in the lead, but they dropped down a few spots as the night went on, allowing Gazpacho to gain on them. With so many teams, the drinking round was welcomed - more so than usual - and it was a game of Cutest Kitten. A close call, but "Meredith Wilson Was a Man" took the win, earning a couple beverages. By the 5th round, Gazpacho solidified their spot in first with "Illuminati By Nature" sneaking up behind them fast. 

Although the night was full of first time players, and quite a few technical issues, it seemed like next week many will return and be prepared to win.
