QUIZ RECAP

It was PACKED and buzzing at The Federal NoHo with another insane trivia night. A round of drinks went to Gazpacho for being able to listen to a songs and identify the biopic about that artist's life, Sloth Tribe showed up just for rounds 6 and 7 winning over the hearts of The Federal NoHo and scoring a perfect 20 for 20 in those rounds, and RIP Air Bud had perhaps the saddest team name I have ever seen. Trivial Pursuers had some stiff competition with their rivals Trivial Pursuers? More Like Trivial Butt! and in the end our top two spots went to The Port Keys and our winners Oula La with 70 and 74 points respectively.

QUIZ RECAP

What a night! Quick highlights(cue ESPN jingle!):

-The Guess Who round was about Aziz Ansari, who filmed a scene for Parks and Recreation right here at the Federal!

-Bell's Farts went a perfect 15 for 15 in our drinking round by identifying the names of Super Heroes and Drag Queens by name. I could not have been more impressed.

-More teams guessed the Battle of Shalom than Battle of Shiloh.

-Nacho Underpants and The Trivial Pursuers tied for second place, only to have The Trivial Pursuers break the tie.

-The Nutty Narrows took home The (metaphorical) Federal NoHo Trivia belt with 66 big ones.

Holy moly! Let's get the elephant in the room out of the way...Invested, no Emotionally got 94 POINTS. All those double or nothings really paid off as they came out to an early lead and never looked back. Dirks Digglers and Trivial Pursuers ended up getting a tie but Dirk and his fellow Digglers inched it out by guessing closer in our tie breaker question. Curse the Gods and Inquizables 2 played along in the tie breaker round(just for fun) and both guessed that a bloomin onion had 2000 calories...the correct answer: 1950. Amazing guesses! Curse the gods won our intense round of heads or tails and earned themselves a free round of drinks, and Le Tongue guessed their own team name for "What is the French word for french kissing?" All in all, amazing teams and a fun night of trivia. Looking forward to seeing them all again this Monday at 8:30 at the Federal NoHo!
