QUIZ RECAP

Halloween was in the air at The Federal tonight, with a special themed mix from Quizmaster Yael, as well as a seemingly unlimited bag of yummy candies, teams came in costume ready to play! The first round had scores all over the board but "Sir Christopher The Magnificent" took a quick lead doubling round 1. By Round 3 "F is for Friends" jumped to the third place spot, creeping up behind "Gazpacho".

Everyone was stumped in the Guess Who fourth round, with two teams losing a point for their Charlie Chaplin guess, but "Agents of the Zeitgeist" was the first to get on the board this round with 6 points. The Halloweiners took everyone by surprise as the only team to get round 6 correct, connecting the Spooky song with their Artist. They were also the winners of the Costume Contest Drinking Round, dressed as Han Solo and Arthur (from the cartoon).

Regardless of score and placement, the entire place had a fantastic Halloween-like night with costumes, music, and of course, candy.

The Federal was full of excited players tonight, including both veteran teams and newbies. The first round saw 4 teams double and take a lead, but round 2 spread everyone out all over the board. It seemed that round 3 was quite an easy one for tonight's players, with nearly every team doubling and getting 12 points. By the time the drinking round came about, everyone was excited to show off their weirdest loyalty cards. Newbies "Celeste Beans" won a round of drinks with their Cannabis Fertilizer card against Gazpacho's card to BLVD Kitchen. Although they took the drinks, they didn't win the game. Tigger & Pooh shot up the ranks knowing Tom Holland after the 10 point clue, but ultimately didn't stay in the top 3.

Next week's drinking round was announced as a costume contest, so everyone is excited to return on Monday to The Federal.

QUIZ RECAP

The Federal was poppin' tonight with over 10 teams at the start of the game, new and old.

The first round was surprisingly challenging with only one team earning all 6 points. The John Hughes round was a stumper, but two teams doubled and quickly took the lead. The rest of the round were pretty tough, so the drinking round was a welcome distraction. With another round of "Whats in your bag?" the entire bar discovered that no one had any condoms. Team Bday Girl won the drinks with their surprising jar of Pumpkin Bisque.

In the end Gazpacho kept their lead, taking first place, followed by veteran team (who was new at The Federal),Vodka Jesus Do? who are eager for a rematch next Monday.
