QUIZ RECAP

Many high energy teams played at The Federal, taking their time identifying and discussing answers, landing scores across the board in round one. Obi Wan Kan Blow Me took an early lead, holding onto first place with Gazpacho not far behind until the ridiculously challenging Handout Round which confused so many teams, resulting in a Pitch A Tent skyrocketing to the top and staying there. Gazpacho stayed in 2nd place and Obi Wan dropped to third. 

After a certain point Catch Flights gave up, but were the truest winners because they got to play with adorable Husky pup, Shadow. 

With the night running long, the Drinking Round was a quick game of Oldest Coin. Originally Gazpacho earned a round by having the oldest coin in the 30 second window, but they generously forfeited their prize leading newcomers We're Just Guessing to take the beverages with their penny from 1963.

I had fun filling in at The Federal! 

Several teams doubled the first round, but only Illumanti by Nature and Gazpacho doubled the second round, propelling them into first place. 

Gazpacho pulled ahead further with a double in round 5, but Saved by the Bell Biv Devoe was just 1 point behind after a double that round as well. 

Ultimately, Gazpacho came in first, with Saved by The Bell just behind, and Illuminati by Nature in third. 

Illuminati also won the drinking round which was "name that showtune and the musical it's from".

What a fun night at the Federal! A Christopher Walken to Remember absolutely crushed the competition with three successful double or nothing rounds! I think Archie the Dog was feeding them all the right answers! New Year's Eve Nurses had a serious comeback with a successful double or nothing in round 5 pushing them past Gazpacho for that 2nd place spot! But don't worry, Gazpacho had maybe the most glorious victory of the night during our drinking round with the most insane paper airplane throw I have ever seen!! We will see you next Monday!
