QUIZ RECAP

The game was intense tonight at The Federal, with many a team landing zeros in round one after a tricky Ethology question. The Picture Round wasn't any easier with teams struggling to identify the real and fictional cowboys/girls. By the third round tensions had eased and everyone was on the board. It was the fourth round where "And in 4th place" shined, earning 10 points quickly by identifying Zach Efron. In an odd twist of fate, the team who ultimately took first place lost a point in round 4, but rebounded by doubling in round 5. "Single White Female" jumped around the leader board this evening, eventually earning herself 4th place after regulars Gazpacho and new team And in 4th place. Another new team won the drinking round, The Cleons, earned their beverages with a cute cat video. In the end Jeremy for President! ?? (aka New Year's Eve nurses) took the first place spot, serendipitously for Jeremy's birthday.

QUIZ RECAP

The Federal was buzzing as Triv and Let Die attended to celebrate a member's Birthday. The entire bar was in on the fun, drinking every time Quizmaster Yael said the word Birthday. Round one was a tricky one, but by the Picture Round the order began to set. By round 4 Gazpacho, Agents of the Zeitgeist, Sausage Factory. and Triv and Let Die solidified the lead, as No Hoes at this Table, Wingardium Triviosas, Friends Forgiven, and The Golden Bitches struggled to find their places.

Both Gazpacho and Agents of the Zeitgeist doubled in a challenging round 5 which transitioned smoothly into a simple drinking round. Teams were asked to find the oldest coin or bill amongst their team. Luckily, Triv and Let Die had many pockets to pull from and found a coin from 1960, earning them the Drinking Round. Sadly they doubled in round 6, earning them a zero but it was The Golden Bitches who surprised everyone knowing 9/10 titles and novel pairings. Unfortunately, the final round about sports interrupted flow, along with Wingardium Triviosas who had no answers for the round. Regular players Gazpacho and Agents of the Zeitgeist won first and second this week, keeping them atop the League board.

Four teams arrived ready to play trivia at The Federal tonight, with no one getting a perfect score in the first round. A new team arrived from Massachusetts in time for the picture round and put themselves on the board by round 3. Sausage Factory's decision to double in round 2 and 3 cost them their nearly perfect scores but it was Round 4 where many teams, including Sausage Factory rebounded.

They continued to build their score, even winning the TV theme song drinking round. Both Agents of the Zeitgeist and Sausage Factory doubled their 6th round of comedian hosts taking a clear lead over the rest. In the end they took home first and second place, respectively.
