QUIZ RECAP

Seven teams were ready to compete at The Federal tonight, with quite a few returning players. After the first couple rounds, the scores were all over the board until Gazpacho doubled round 3 and taking a strong lead. Sadly Cheyan was discouraged after losing one point in the Guess Who round, eventually leaving the game. It was newcomers The Recs who dominated the drinking round where each team was tasked with DMing Quizmaster Yael a kitty video or pic. It was a tough call, but she was up to the task. The final round proved challenging, with two teams doubling and losing the round.

With all the ups and downs, teams are eager to return for more next week.

QUIZ RECAP

It was quite an eventful Labor Day evening at The Federal tonight. Due to technical difficulties the game started off quietly with the Picture Round and Matching 6th Round. By the times those were complete issues were resolved and Quizmaster Yael was able to get things really going.

Our first round, the Picture Round, allowed Gazpacho an early lead but by our second round, the Matching Round, Black Panthers had joined and showed they were formidable opponents. After a difficult Find the Connection round, it was time for a drink. Quizmaster Yael played a mash-up song and gave the fasted team to identify both songs and artists in the mash-up a round of drinks. It was the New Friends Betrayed who ultimately identified Fountains of Wayne's Stacey's Mom and Ms New Booty by Bubba Sparxxx. In the end the Black Panthers took the lead, beating Gazpacho by 8 points after doubling the incredibly difficult final round.

Will the Black Panthers return to face off against Gazpacho? Only time will tell.

QUIZ RECAP

Six teams started out the night at The Federal, with No Hoes taking an early lead, but no one got the entire first round. Quickly Gazpacho caught up to No Hoes, leaving new teams Team August and The Film Critics competing against Sleeping Pandas and New Friends. It was round four where the tables turned and it became anyone's game. Sleeping Pandas bowed out before the drinking round where teams were asked to name the artist and title of songs with the word Good in the title. The Film Critics were first to submit beating everyone to a free round of drinks. The Find the Connection proved incredibly difficult until the final question was read out loud, providing teams with a much needed clue. After a surprisingly difficult final round, New Friends was tied in second place with Gazpacho, but New Friends were closer to the tie-breaker answer and took the $10 prize. No Hoes continued their domination and won $20 towards The Federal.
