QUIZ RECAP

Hey Beautiful Federal People(Federilites? Federalists?),

It's me, Brendan. I'm back. I missed you so much. Did you miss me as much as I missed you? Not as much? Ok.

What a night of trivia at The Federal! Six, count 'em, SIX TEAMS hit double or nothings at some point of the evening, and multiple others got every answer correct in a round without the double or nothing wager. The night as a whole was filled with applause, corrections of my pronunciation on members of the Wu-Tang Clan, and a few unintentional misdirects by yours truly.

Not only did they get second place and get out with a hot $15 gift card to The Federal, but RIP Movie Pass also won a round of free drinks by sending one of their players to the front, who outlasted every one else and named the most Emmy nominated sitcoms in our drinking round.

In the end, Ragnorok ran away with it with multiple successful double or nothing rounds, and they were the only team to successfully guess Jackie Robinson in the Guess Who round after the first clue! QUIZ RECAP

My name is Walker and I am (or because you're reading this now, I was) your Quizmaster with glasses this week, filling in for Brendan. It was a full house at the Federal and what a game it was. There was everything, joy, sorrow, and even drawings of dogs!

While a few teams early on took a lead, the game stayed very close for most of the night!

A special shout out to Drawing of a Dog, a team whose name was literally a drawing of a dog! They even drew Nixon's dog Checkers, who was the answer to a round 5 question!

This team won the drinking round by getting closest in guessing the number of Jeopardy! episodes Alex Trebek has hosted. The Answer, or should I say the question is Who are Rickety Crickets! Congrats on the free booze!

The final round of the evening involved naming 10 of the 13 most successful Drake singles. Most teams started at the bottom and stayed there as they struggled to name the singer's hits, but a few teams made that hotline bling (I'm so sorry, I don't know any other Drake songs either) and were able to name most of the songs!

Tonight's game ended with a tie between Smart Phonies and Trivial Pursuers for first place. Trivial Pursuers got closer in guessing the population of Austin and won the night!

THE OFFICE THEMED EVENT RECAP

THE OFFICE THEMED EVENT WAS AMAZING! You guys knew your office related trivia like Toby and his knowledge of the Scranton strangler! The teams were heated and excited running into round one. Food and drinks were flowing as the lines between family members came together for round two. Round four proved too easy for most players as Mose came out faster than Angela out of the trunk of his car. The connection round proved no problem for a few teams which pushed them to the front of the pack. The spirit award took a crazy turn when a pack of Dwight's was beat by one girl in a Michael mashup T-shirt. I must say I was very surprised. However after the final round I was happy to see the smartest hardest working teams out in front. Congrats Kelevens on your first place win!
