We learned a lot tonight including some sign language, what states are the worst to live in, and most importantly the difference between Dave Chappelle and Dave Coulier. Both are comedians, but their styles are quite different.
We also gave away a pitcher of beer to the team who guessed closest to the total number of goals scored in the NHL regular season. Kudos to Eternal Moonshine for thinking quick on their feet and coming within a few hundred while most teams were off by at least 7,000.

It took quite the hodgepodge of useless knowledge to win our quiz tonight after covering everything from wizards to unusual units of measurement and somehow even had a whole full nine questions in the connection round with guys named Billy as the theme.
Beer was awarded via physical challenge this week with a cup stacking competition. Great job Eternal Moonshine on not only being the fastest team to stack their cups into a pyramid, they took first place in the quiz as well!

A new season of trivia league play began tonight and 90 West Lounge was READY! Lots of teams are now signed up and ready for the crazy ride that is competing each week, climbing the standings, and qualifying for our tournament of champions at the end of the season.
You could feel the added excitement in the air, especially during our drinking round. Tonight it was a friendly game of high/low using a random number generator on my phone. Contestants were literally screaming in anticipation each time I hit the button for a new number as they guessed if it would be higher or lower than the previous one. Congrats team 1st Place for winning the beer! They may have finished far from their predicted first, but most teams are more than happy with a beer prize.
The Jared Leto fans were able to pull off the actual 1st place tonight not only in the quiz, but also in my heart by wearing a Dat Boi shirt, everyone's favorite unicycle riding frog meme. Those finishing last didn't go home empty-handed, however. Members of Eternal Moonshine were given emotional support dogs to deal with the crushing defeat. Hopefully the doggos did the job and lifted their spirits enough to see them back next time for week 2 of league play!
