It turned out to be the winning competition again, but I'm sure if the movie studios ever found out that they us their intellectual property to win at trivia, they'd get a cease and desist.
Our bonus round this week was inspired by the Nicholas Cage classic National Treasure! The team who could find the oldest US currency (either bill or coin) would win the beer. Great job Boomer and the Buried Bodies for finding a wheat penny from 1929 and earning themselves some free drinks!

The Eggheads were thrown from their thone tonight as team Godjizza was able to capitalize on a few key double downs, proving that Godjizza truly is the KINK of the monsters.
Our bonus round for the beer was a creative challenge, based on a true story. The quizmaster showed up with a black eye tonight and was tired of everyone asking what happened so our teams were tasked with coming up with a good story. Congrats to The Pretty Smiles for my new story of "I was hit by a Playstation controller while playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater". It's a frustrating game! You never know when a controller may fly across the room.

It's not often the quizmaster gets to show off his killer singing voice, but when a team name is set to the tune of Creed's "Higher" you'd be letting everyone down if you didn't belt it out.
Our drinking round was probably the only game ever played based on another early 2000's rock band, Alien Ant Farm! The challenge was to guess the difference in Spotify plays between their hugely popular cover of Smooth Criminal and their next biggest hit with an original song. Needless to say that number was MUCH bigger than most guessed, but the Cocaine Cowboys proved themselves to be music cowboys as well and won the free beer.
