I think this might be my new favorite venue--the teams here were so engaged in the game! Kelly behind the bar deserves a shout-out for keeping the party going with specials and excellent service. Oh!--and Mondays is free hotdog night!--how can you beat that?! The whole place is like a big family on game night! I was honored to be the Quizmaster for the evening. The players kept the game interesting and exciting to play and host. Team's scores were up and down as they duked it out throughout the night. In the end, a couple teams fell victim to badly timed Double or Nothing plays that resulted in zero points for a given round, while the Tim-flatable Sex Dolls held steady to emerge victorious in the very engaging match-up. Congratulations, team!

After a rare off podium finish, our favorite movie title turned dirty team name was back in the winner's circle. Our second place team, Play More P.O.D. not only has fabulous taste in music, but was the only team to get the mystery round correct on the first clue due to their oddly specific knowledge of the movie Twister.
Our bonus round involved a game of Balderdash where players had to decide if a given word is made up or real. Only one team won the beer, but we learned some new vocabulary. Unless you already knew that scrivello is obviously a word (an elephant's tusk weighing less than 20 pounds) and that meadophily is clearly made up.

The Eggheads made their triumphant return and pushed team Dick City off the podium for the first time in a while. Always good sports, they vowed to return triumphant next week.
Our bonus game utilized the pool table for a friendly billiards challenge. The object of the game was to shoot the cue ball off the back bumper and get as close as you can to the near bumper without hitting. It was set to be a riveting challenge until our first contestant came about a millimeter away from the bumper which turned out to be impossible to beat. Congrats on hustling the quizmaster and winning the beer!
