Similar to the Boston Red Socks showing up to Los Angeles and dominating the world series, occasional trivia team Smash Lockjaw returned to 90 West much to the chagrin of our regulars. They took home 1st as team H-Bomb' chances of resurrecting their dynasty dwindled even further.
For the bonus round, in honor of LA being in the World Series, I asked our teams "What is the one LA specific rule we could change about baseball to help give the Dodgers an edge?"

Team H-Bomb's reign finally came to an end tonight, but BARELY. It would have been a three-peat if not for their lack of knowledge of the Chilean war for independence that hurt them in the tiebreaker. They vowed to study up on their international history next week to start another quest for three wins in a row!
Our bonus round tonight was a real timesaver for the quizmaster. Instead of needing to make an extra stop to get a birthday card for his sister, we crowdsourced making custom birthday cards for her. I gave a few interests and hobbies and let the teams do the rest. Great job team JS for drawing both a dinosaur and my sister flipping me the bird while I host trivia. Your work of art earned a pitcher of beer!

The quizmaster was in for a real treat tonight! Not only did one of his favorite teams, H-Bomb, capture first place in back to back weeks, Eternal Moonshine was back with another "Find the connection" team name challenge. This week between Bill & Ted's Excrement Adventure, The John Wick, Poopstantine, The Outhouse, The Devil's Advoshit, and a Shitter Darkly, the connection was clearly "Shitty Keanu Reeves movies". Throw in the fact that it was also Canadian Thanksgiving with team Gobble Gobble bringing pumpkin spice cookies, I consider myself to be the luckiest quizmaster on the planet.
