It was great to see some new faces in what turned out to be a very close competition. Only three points separated first and third place as some Winnepeg Jets fans tried to put a curse on our first place team, but fell just short.
With a good number of teams tonight, we were able to orchestrate a good old fashioned rock, paper, scissor tournament. Free beer going to the player able to go undefeated throughout all of their opponents!

In all my years of hosting trivia, I have yet to see someone make a UFO out of a coaster and an olive! Team 12 Steppenwolf earned themselves a few drinks on the house for their creativity in our paper airplane contest.

Monday's quiz turned out to be a bit more challenging than our teams have been used to as of late with only one team able to pull off a double beyond the first round. I couldn't blame anyone for playing it safe on a night that required you to know that Dave Matthews was born in South Africa!
Our bonus round involed a good old fashioned game of elimination style flip cup. It went by quickly when only one player landed his cup on the first try to win the beer.
