Happy Wednesday from the Canterbury Ale House, where every Wednesday night, it's King Trivia Night !! Tonight we welcomed 16 teams with a collective of 100 players!!! (a literal full house, boasting standing room only).
Ryan and Joey were slinging drinks, with Danny and Laticia serving up delicious food (highly recommend the Wednesday night specials of 50cent wings, $4 wells, and $7 Jameson!!! Um.... yes please!)
Tonight's contenders:
In a true Cantebury spirit, our 4 veteran teams (Butts ‘n Cats & Butts ‘n Cats, The Knights of the Brown Table, The Red Raccoons, and Boob Pocket) showed the ropes to our 12 first-time teams as we "got trivial". Laughs were had, friends were made, and when I said can I get a "yeehaw?!" the whole bar erupted in their best and loudest "yeehaw" that would make a cowgirls' heart skip.....
But such is life and all good things must come to an end, and thus our night of shenanigans and good spirits came to a close...In second place with 64 points, the valiant and noble Knights of the Brown Table. And in first place, as if foretold by prophets, with 65 points, KingTriviaWinners.

Happy Wednesday from the Canterbury Ale House, where every Wednesday night it's King Trivia Night!!! Tonight we welcomed 3 first-time teams and 6 returning teams with a collective of 28 players!! David and Joey were slinging drinks behind the bar, with Danny and Laticia serving up delicious food in the kitchen. Fed and merry, we kicked off the night and got down to all things trivial!!

Right out of the gate returning players, NetworQUEEN, successfully went Double or Nothing and took an aggressive lead over the eight contending teams.
However, the night was young with 6 more rounds to go. It was anyone's game...Would NetworQUEEN reign sovereign and ruthless? Or would a team rise from the ashes (and ranks) to dethrone her majesty to don the King Trivia crown themselves? With uncertainty and egos aflame, we continued on....
As prophecy would have it, the NetworQueen was sent to the gallows in the second to last round by the team the packs a punch, Quack Attack AKA We Donkey Punch on the First Date, and the team whose bite is louder than its bark, team Woof!!
But in true royal fashion and pulling the ultimate "hail mary", NetworQUEEN vanquished her enemies in the final round of the night; ever reminding those who dare challenge her, not to go barking up the wrong tree as to do so would surely make an ass of oneself!
But who amongst the remaining players would go home second in command to her royal highness? With the sly and cunning adorableness, one could only dream a trash panda to be, stealing second place it was our night's masked bandits: the Red Raccoons!!
